Nokia N79 - user opinions and reviews

My N79 is six months old and I am already on to my second battery.At the moment the battery goes flat in 24 hours. I only use it a couple of times a day and only receive about two calls a day.Any ideas what to do??

can any1 suggest me a fone with full touchscreen and with wi-fi in nokia and samsung in range of 14000rs.

friendxs after watching your comments thank God i didnt buy n73 thanks all to increase the speed of n79 you have to go to mediA player and do settings in equilizer its sound will be loud

i bought this phone for 3 consecutive times, the speed is good maybe the one you bought had a problem with it.

I wonder why none has written about the speed of this phone?i am really surprised as have used it but then sold it within couple of weeks due to lack of speed,it takes ages to open a new msg,menu blah blah.no doubt its a very decent phone with good looks,features,battery backup etc but then whats the point if the phone is irritatingly slow.this has to be the slowest phone i have ever used after black and white 8310.

The n79 is an awesome phone .
It is good for gamers .
you can put all the poosible games like n gage java and series 60 it all works.
the phone never hangs.
i have used it for 1 yr now no problems .....

I am holder of n79 . N79 is very awsum phone. And batery bckup is mindblowing. Nd it is bst frm n97 .

lots uf users are complaining abaut the poor build quality of some very new phones and i did some research abaut it and i found out something in common they are MADE IN HUNGARY or MADE IN ROMANIA. If you want a good phone buy one thats MADE IN FINLAND because you cant buy one thats made in GERMANY anymore because nokia wants lower production costs and that results in poor build quality

hey guys , i really am in a need for a reply here ...
main use of this phone for me is songs and vids i am gonna ful the memcrd which is 8gb . can u suggest me if it stands up to that and it wont hang sort of ... lemme know .
or shuld i go for some other fone u would like to suggest ...

it's a great phone but what annoyed me is that the key at the left of the green call button, the vertical one i think its called the navigation or short cut key, fell off.. it happened twice the first time i returned the unit to replace it with a new one but eventually the second unit's navigation key fell off. the worst thing is that i can't find the key so that i can stick it back.. now it looks ugly damn.. and they don't sell keypads for n79 here just my luck
