I really don't own any good phone and i am sorry for the things i have said about N79.
I am the biggest loser coz i own a chinese phone and can't stop boasting about it. Ignore me please as i can't stop myself. Soon i will be abusing myself and write something stupid to myself only and that too in english with full of grammatical mistakes.

They are resolution related, not... moreYe I was happy if it would have been a china moddle N79, because I m sure that china N79 would hv produce a batter result, even china moddle 2MP camera reflect batter quality picture, ok no problem I hv perchased N97, its very highly good and quality camera, so, don't console ur self having such a cheep device. ok understand.

I need help! I have been using nokia 5320 xpressmusic for abt a yr nd i stil love it but i want an upgrade and confused whether to go for N79 or N82. I need multimedia prowes and good connectivity then camera

They are resolution related, not quality as you are trying to imagine. U need to do your homework. Looks like you bought a phone trying to pass off as an N79. Maybe those Chinese fake N79s that come with dual sim.

Norbert, 16 Nov 2009Anyone out there who has upgraded to V31.002.?
Notice any changes?I upgraded about a week ago, the phone is stable and working fine. May be the volume got a bit higher, and o think there is Nokia messaging support. The best thing is that images now are loading much faster than before even on my 8GB card.
The phone is still hackable, and rom patcher is wroking fine. Cant really wait until they have Symbian source code opened!

Go for the N79 if you want a all round fone that can do everything the 5800 can (only smaller screen)N79 takes better pics than 5800.

Mohib , 15 Nov 2009ok well than plz tell me how to check the update firmware and how to download it, plz help me ... moreyr fone has a update firmware in menu (OTA)or by PC Suite.Don't knock the phone. If u bought a genuine one it should have this features, and the phone works.

I am owning a N79 for the past 3 months and I dont see any issues.It has got a very good cam.It may not be the best among the 5MP but N79 gives a descent result.While recording you can have video light as well.This phone is very good and performance ifs simply Great

Enjoy the cheap fake phone which you own!

Norbert, 14 Nov 2009I've had mine for 4 mnths, no problems. Just upgrade your firmware to V30.019. Never had a bet... moreok well than plz tell me how to check the update firmware and how to download it, plz help me in this regard I m very upset with my N79, because it hengs alote and it hangs every time freezes at time opening fm radio, so I think that it can be solved by update of firmware, os plz tell me how to do it, thanx, waiting
