Black is not too good....
White also Ok one...

neha, 27 Sep 2009plz tel me n79 is better or 6700?Hey frnd, If u are a multimedia freak and if u want perfect build quality, wifi with Upnp, N-gage, Tv out, stable performance thru latest firmware update, 5mpix isn't best one but it can reaches ur expectations..
When Comparing both, N79 has lot front facing camera for pics and vids and also for video call, Nice Stereo speakers low distortion levels thru latest firmware, cam shuter with video light, Navi wheel, Vesy Robust battery, free Ngage game and lot of movies, 4gb card, Feel the S60 power with multitasking, Office tools,
If u buy N79 firstly just work it for 2days and then update the firmware v30. Then u surely feel the difference in performance.
N79 price wise - Entry level but Performance wise - High level....

this mobile sucks..the picture/video gallery really giving me a hard time scrolling through all my pics and vids...is there anyway to make it simplier,like those basic gallery settings on old nokia phones?

its totaly on ur own discretion wat r ur needs..!
U can opt for 6700, if u want best slim design, more durable metal material, best 5 mpx camera (according to gsmarena 6700 has gr8 camera with best pic quality, 6700 is among d top 5 fons in 5 mpx lenses fons). Best material used as we knw in older 6300.
Last bt nt least it runs on much stable and mature s40 OS. Bt s40 has its own limitations as it has no multi-tasking capabilities. So u cn nt run more than 1 app at a time.
Much better and comfortable key-pad compared to n79.
Contrary to that, n79 is a smart fon. Has multi-tasking capabilities. Runs on s60 symbian OS. According to d users, with d latest firmware available fon has bcom more stable with less on of hangs and crashes. N79 has a branded lense for its camera called CARL ZEISS although its clarity is less compared to 6700.
N79 is a multimedia power house wid sm free movies available here in india. It also has n-gage gaming. U also get TV out jack and wi-fi on board whch u'll nt find in 6700.
N79 has poor built quality and worst ever key-pad.
N79 has gud symbian browser with full flash support. 6700 has also a gud webkit based browser same as iphone's safari bt it lacks full flash support.
This is wat i know.
