Have used 5 n series 70,73,81,82, and no one compares to n79. Baterry life is the best, and with its 369 mhz processor and 120mb ram, the operating of it is quite smooth. Changed my keypad already and the camera flex, but its age thats all. If you are aiming for a symbian os 9, n79 is the best you can get. I got an e7 and am letting go of my n79, but if you can get one, hack it, get a functional python, upgrade your firmware if you can, and you wont beleive how amazing this smartphone can be!

After 3 years of rigorous use, it is expected to break down. So it started working slow. I went to the Nokia care, but they seem not to understand my problem. Did a software re-flash, but wasn't really helpful.
Any Suggestions?

n79 is to good but keypad problem & low sound is the main problem in it but overall it is the best mobile i had..................

its got the best audio sound...have compared it to xpressmusics and x-series and se walkmans using the latest creative earphone/headset...perfect bass effect!!!

harsh, 13 Jun 2012i have deleted my n gage software from the mobile:-). Now where can i get it...I have it. Besides, does it work for you? It is unsuported now.

I have it for 2 years now. It's perfect.It has everything you need.
battery life is very good. and FM transmitter too!
alongside with GPS, Wi-Fi, Excellent sound quality with stereo speakers and etc.

i owned a nokia n79...everything u need in a cellphone its got it...also owned a nokia e51...elegant little smartphone...also got a 6303i...simply smooth operator.. a nokia 3720...so solid...a 2700...a cheap hardworking all-around mob...and a 1280...amazing secondary phone and a nokia 6233...w the greatest audio sound ever...

to set wi-fi and mail client to connect to internet in some interval and automatic check the new mail,and I get sound signal that I have new mail,like sms?
Yes,in manual guides writen this,but in reallity,is it posiblle? Please answer soon is posiblle. THANKS !

This is the best mobile one can have in its price range , super sturdy , fast wifi connection , reliable n fast operating system , unlike other N series it doesn't hang..!!! :)

Thomas, 03 Jun 2012The cousin picked up one in Dubai which apparently cannot be repaired in India for software ha... moreWrote a strong worded letter to the Corporate office. They called back the next day. Apparently the guy who I was getting the phone repaired from was lacking half a brain. They suggested another Nokia Care Center. Got it repaired in half a day. Apparently there was nothing wrong with the software.........the keypad had some glitch. Its working fine now. Lets see where it goes.
