Comparing N79 and N82:-
By all means N82 is a much better phone than N79!
Just 1 flaw in N82: Keypad. Its got really small keys.
(But then I hear that a lot of people have problems with the N79 keypad as well)
Apart from that,
N82 has THE BEST 5 megapixel camera with XENON flash. There is nothing better than this in a camera.
Secondly, N82 has a small chip that takes care of the graphics department (whatever comes on the display)..
So menu, rotation and other graphics tasks are taken care by that separate chip. Hence the phone is much faster than any other N series phone!!!
N82 would be priced at 20k (approx) and N79 (15k).
One piece of information is that N82 is being discontinued (I am not aware of the reason). Hence, stocks are really low. If you are planning to buy the N82 you should go for it as soon as possible..!

Mej, 28 Aug 2009Why does my N79 not have the fm transmitter as stated in d manual? Pls a need a reply Hi..well using transmitter, u can ask ur friend to tune on to the frequency that it transmits, so that if u play an song, then ur friend can hear it..

-gud wi-fi signals
-gud call quality.
-very gud browser and email application.
-gud display.
Last bt nt least a very gud built quality.

i hav seen many good feedbacks from u ppl to others about n79. plz can u help me in dis. i m interested in buyin n79. can any one help me by telling open anwers about n79 i mean its features nd some probs about dis phone. and is it worth buying n79 for 15k nd overall conditions becoz i heard its has some probs while video recording nd keypad is little hard. users of n79 can u help me in this. which colour looks best out of 3 colours. some other info about n79. i ll be awaiting four feedbacks.. thank you...

There is no comparison as such.
But, the major differences I see are,
N79 is Value for money. Feature wise all the 3 would be same (major functionality). If not, most of it can be incorporated by installing 3rd party softwares.
The difference lies in the screen size. N79 has the smallest screen at 2.4 inch. Which, though not big, seems enough. Its sleeker than the other 2.
N95 8GB has a HDD (hard disk). That will definitely make it slower. Whereas N79 has a microSD card. It will also result in the weight of the N79 to be less than both N95 and N96. I haven't seen the specs but should be!! The best part is that N79 does have Wifi and GPS. If it didn't it would have lost the battle straight away! I would seriously recommend N79.
But if you have the moolah, then go for N96. Definitely not N95 8GB. It's not worth it anymore!! Reviews are not as good!!! If it would have been N95 without 8 GB I would have bought it myself too (after the price drop to around 15k :-) )

Hey who all wants to buy this mobile.....i think they shud go 4 it.....
bcez it has more advantages than disadvantages......
dat is true dat it hangs and its keypad is smwat hard to press but otherthan this there isn't any problem.....
games run very smoothly on it.....and specially it's camera is awesome......and as evry1 knows it has lots of new feature.......so it is one of the BEST BUY at present day........so ne1 planning 4 new mobile go 4 it.....and soon u ll write sm gud comments here....as i do...............

i bought this phone a coupLe of days ago and i dont see any problem from the video to the sound and in battery this phone is such high quality that can compete even now for the latest phone!!

For those who are using N79, please do not update the latest firmware for this phone which is V30.019.53.1 because it had a serious bug.
The problem is under this version your new created sim contact will delete automatically once u restart your phone. Means if u have 100 contacts before updating this firmware,after u update the firmware u create for let say 5 extra sim contacts, once after u restart your phone then the new created contacts will be deleted automatically,for eg it will get back to 100 contacts.
I have kinda confidence on what am i experiencing because i have tested it on 3 same devices n79.
This is probably due to the unstable firmware that are still under developing.
