Ive had this phone for 5months and i am very much satisfied. Excellent picture,video and sound quality! And the same as other Nokia phones,its very user friendly. I highly recommend this phone!

You are again mistaking by this comment that N82 can replace an DSLR. N82 could be the best imaging phone but camera.....
Now you are talking abt most people do not change settings, THAN thoose people do not use DSLR either. AND THEY are not professional by the way, they are considered as daily photographers. And professional in fact check and change settings for each and every shot. If you do not know abt imaging please restrict ur comments to phones only.
No way you can replace a 10-12 MP DSLR with 10X Optical zoom with any camera phone.

Hi friends! i am going to buy Nokia n79 in iran. I want to update it after i purchased. if i update it my persian language support will be dead! how to add Persian language support in sms and menus and web pages after I update it? Pls Help me.

finally able to update the firmware today to v30.019 via nsu.so far i only notice the menu transition got faster,smoother compare to v20.even the photo viewer is faster.not sure about other changes..if compare to v11 when i bought it, my n79 now is waaay better,stable&faster.btw,i'm from malaysia..maybe ppl from asia can get v30 now.

Nokia u r the real leader.i am really happy b'cas i just bought the handset for 14.5k yesterday.After a lot of confussion b'tween N79 and W705.N79 wins in many aspects.
SE W705 lacks lot both in features and specs
no auto focus so lot of noise in images,no gps,as a walkman series not a good loud speaker and headset,not a smartphone,e.t.c....
With price range of 16.5k and no more memory card in box.sony ericsson down down

2- The n79 is better because it has FM transmitter, 4GB memory card included, wey better looking.

I have the n79 and every thing is great, the problem is in your device.
2-Recording calls:
Can't do it with any n79, it needs a special programme, i don't know what it is.
