Anonymous, 18 May 2009in india n79 comes with fm transmiterRadio Stereo FM radio with RDS; FM transmitter; Visual radio
DUDE...did you not read the specifications before you posted? you'll see that EVERY N79 has FM Transmitter. Next time, read before you post.
Hi! Have any one noticed any significant change in audio quality after the the new firmware update is installed ? Is there bass booster option b4 in the music player ? I think it's a new feature. Is it ? Thx.(email@example.com)
There are some stupid countries which prohibit the use of any radio transmitting device. Such countries are France, Ireland, Greece, Hong Kong and India I guess. Never buy your N79, as well as N85 from this countries because it is most likely that FM transmitter is stripped off from those phones.

marai, 16 May 2009buy the white one its very unique. This is not a "problem". Its a part of a "solution". Since N79 is a very power hungry phone( Bluetooth, fm transmitter & all connections), Nokia figured that it would b wise that the ENTIRE screen goes out when da phone is not in use in order to conserve as much power as possible. It would have been wise for Nokia to have an option to close this function.
