Guys i own this phone for 1 week now..just want to say something..it hanged badly a short while ago!!..no single response..even the power button was not responding.. i was trying to open (all songs) in the music player when it hanged!!..i found nothing to do other than opening the back cover and removing the battery. then i restarted it an now its just okay.

i installed a theme on my fone N79 it makes my fone really slow... i wanna uninstall it but i couldnt find it in da application manager.. how can i uninstall it? can anybody help me out... thanx

Verrrryyyyy Great Phone ..... nice camera and menu of nokia i just said menu of nokia because first time to get nokia xD,not very expensive ^^ cuz i like in egypt this mobile in egypt is 1900 when i bought it.

3) keep pressing on the 3 keys with opening the phone and wait for minutes so the mob will be opened and ask u for ur region

turn off camera soun, 30 Jan 2009go to your settings and turn warning sounds off should turn off the camera sound ....its still not working out..cant switch of the camera sound..plz help me..

So what, if nokia n82 has better camera performance compared to nokia n79!!!!!!!! you guys need to stop all this debating and arguing nonsense. all in all, camera phone cannot be compared to digital cameras ok. Yes, nokia n82 has better camera than nokia n79, but the nokia n79's camera performance is acceptable!!!!
The video performance in nokia n79 beats the hell out of nokia n82!!. It has a LED, which you can turns it on manual as a torch!!!! (i like this the best)

finally i got this phone...a week now using it and frankly i feel unsatisfied....i'll mention the negatives of this phone based on my experience..
1-the D pad is too bad,really uncomfortable like the soft keys which are so small and difficult to use.
2-the navy wheel is useless.
3-the os is unpractical,uneasy to use and needs much modification.
4- the back cover is a big problem..it is creaky and unstable..

The placement of the 'C' key is AWFUL. It's so hard to enter text quickly and not accidentally hit the end key! SO FRUSTRATING!

I regret, 31 Jan 2009So what are you trying to say is that, I am biased towards the N79 and I'm in favor of the N82... moreyes, it's true, N82 is a better cameraphone, but N79 is a better videocall phone. Just compare N82 CIF to N79 VGA. So N82 is not the best quality image phone in my opinion.

Hello,
Today I updated my firmware version to 11. After updating the phone is starting but I can't use it. I get WaveSecure Alert saying "Phone blocked due to SMS sending failure"
I registered my mother's phone as rescue number for Wave Secure.
The unlock code has been somehow misplaced..
I can't use the phone anymore.. :( Please help me out! Thank You!!
