Please can you tell is camera better on N82 or N79?
Now I have N73, camera is great, with 3.2 mp. N73 is missing wi-fi. I'm gonna buy N82 or N79. N82 seems very big.

i've bought an N82 and two months later bought an N79, both phones have plus and minus of its own. N79 has a faster single processor, but most of the time it feels abit slow compare to N82 due to its new and fancy user interface(with transitions and fading effects, which can't be disabled i'm sorry to say that). overall, i still prefer N82 better although it may not have some extra features that N79 have.
N79 is slim, lightweight and has a newer operating system + extra features.
N82 is bulkier, old user-interface but larger internal memory with very powerful Xenon flash light to take nice pictures.
Both have 5 megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics lense+auto focus, 30fps-VGA video recording, stereo speakers, wifi, A-GPS, auto screen rotate, 3.5 mm audio output jack, TV out, etc etc.

Soheil, 15 Jan 2009The problem is that this phone has not been hacked yet! I can't install any .SIS fileto hack n79 use drakkrious v 3.01 it is tested successfully on n78 so it must be ok on n79

hey guys, why would anybody wants to pay for the voice navigation? with that fee, you can buy a real gps for your car!!!!!!!!!!this is pathetic man.
The new firmware is not that exciting. It has few new features, but lose some new features!!!!
1. when you press the d-pad button twice to scroll down the phonebook really fast, now with the new firmware, that feature has disappear!!!!!!!!omggg!!!!

I have had the Nokia N79 for some time now, and I can very much recommend it to anyone wanting an allround phone.
Impressive with a full list of features with so compact measures, a phone to comfotable carry in your shirt-pocket.
Every feature is from at least good to very good, camera, GPS, Navigation, display, battry, internet, e-mail, good price too.
I miss to be able to charge the battery from a USB port, but that is about all. Recommended!

the Available RAM after booting the system is about 80 MB with a total memory of 128 MB. Exactly the same rates we see in the Nokia N85, N96, this volume lacking in most situations. Memory devoted to launch applications (Heap size) and the size of the Java-applications (Jar size) are unlimited.

The theme is changed although i didn't do anything...
i just leave the phone like that and suddenly it changed into the default theme...
can someone help me with that?
Although it is not very often but that happens twice for me aready...
