nokia n79 is far much better then n95....i m just bored by my nokia n95 and its sliding mechanism...........i have used my friend's n 79 it is just super cool.....specifications are related to nokia n95 ...but add more brillant design with non slider approach...

i just received my n79 in the mail from nokiausa.com and to my surprise the white version comes with white, brown and salmon back covers. =( i really liked the blue one it came with in other countries.
p.s. does anyone know how long the initial battery charge should take? i've charged my previous batteries for 18-24 hours but now i'm hearing newer batteries dont have to be charged that long?

Im currently using N95 and i want to replace it with N79, what will you suggest me, what do you think i should get N79 in replacment of N95.

Well nobody need be a genius to explain why this cell beats every other one even its elder brother anyways music library refreshing has minor glitch but not a buggy or butthead

Can anyone tell me about their experiences using this phone. a... moreif by pen key you mean one used for editing cut copy paste then yes the function is there. Only the key is missing in place of a specially dedicated key one can use the # key to get the desired results.

hi guys!!well i bought this phone a week back
And the best part was the changeable covers and the fm transmitter.The transmitter worked very well.The keypad was very good,so i highly recommend this one.

nad, 17 Dec 2008well between N82 and N79 i cannot say for sure which one is the fastest, but N79 if not faster... moren79 is faster, the processor is 369 mhz, compared to n82's 332mhz processor, but it's just a slight difference, n79 also runs in fp2 and n82 on fp1. both are very similar, physically and functions except the n79 fm transmitter and fp2..

How are ya guys. I just fixed the song-playing stops-after-it-ends-when-it-is-set-to-repeat-only-mode. Formatted the MMC and it is gone. I had to format cuz it showed gen sys err.

N79 is awesome...
For persons who want fast tranfer through bluetooth.
Its has 3G, no problem with it.
It is sleeker than N82.
Tranfer rate is faster than N82.
N82 is older model than N79.
Overall its the best as digital camera, phone, internet(3G), put together for a good reasonable price.

well between N82 and N79 i cannot say for sure which one is the fastest, but N79 if not faster than N82 is certainly in no way slower than N82.In all a very decent phone to have.
