In fact battery life is very good about 3.5 days in a moderate use it is better than n73me battery .

In fact i confirm the very good quality sound, camira, video recordering of n79 by the new firmware update v10.0.... etc.
and there is no problems in typing text message at all it is comfortable and excellent keypad it has better than all latest n series phones like n78,n82 ...etc.
also the problem that it takes adges to zoom a photo is also fixed by the new firmware
i think it is very good phone value and price with beatiful design and full of pros features

How is the battery life?

Chinese or Indian made at once gives you an alert for made finnish and performance. My set which i returned within weeks when i bought 3.5inch 6 speakers BT WLAN plus 2Gb MC for fraction of N79 price.
At least i am satisfied chinese made should be third of original price. Its performance touch screen is supberb max it will be a disposable once it dies,but i feel proud of all latest firmware.

Hey, is there anyone who bought the China-made N79?? is there really any difference in terms of quality, durability and performances?? i mean, many of us have an impression that the Chinese products arent as good as the other ones?? How true is that??

I've been using Nokia 6233 for past 3 years and I think it's the best phone - beautiful and easy to touch Key Pad, it's just nice to touch and use. It's deficient of video camera, GPS and lesser in-built memory for contacts. However, in calendar mode, it has notes for meeting, call, b'day, memo and reminder. Just bought Nokia N79 and found its calendar has notes for meeting,memo, anniversary and To Do only. Furthermore, and most important, this calendar has not got the REPEAT feature, i.e. Never, every day, every week, every 2 weeks, every month and everey year. So, if you want to remind yourself to pay, say your car loan on a specific day in the following months or weeks, you've to physically enter the reminder or memo in all the months ahead, which is a tedious task. I pray Nokia take note and include this feature in their phone upgrade for all Nokia phones, whether S60 or S40.

i buy this n79 phone is very good but not goog for message if you right message keypad very tiat not easy to right message so i sell this phone and again buy n73 this n73 very goog for everythink specialy if u right lot of messages every day thx

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2008can ny1 tell me were to save d themes in n79Save your themes on memory card, make a folder in memory card.. Once they are installed they will be there for future ref. They will be put into the theme folder once you install on there own.

Chin, 10 Dec 2008Does n79 speakers produce sound loud clear and much bass? Anybody got it pls helpN79 speaker its a bit better than N82.. Good but just like an ordinary speaker. If you want good speaker choose 5800 XM..awesome! Its better than N96..trust me
