Nokia N79 - user opinions and reviews

got this phone 6days back for rs20000. i have been using nokia for 6 years and dont know how other company phones are but this phone is the worst of nokia, the call gets stuck due to accelerometer sensor, out of app 100 calls i got 40 ended as missed call. the screen keeps on turning at calls and slowes the phone and my work.
the camera is bad bad bad.
i think led flash is a light indicater to say the snape has been shot, it does not work as a flash at all.
touch-sensitive navi wheel could be a little problem at times.
no previous cracked software works on this phone
in short waste of time and money

just bought this phone today and it rockz
just 1 thing that it doesnt support xenon else its good music quality is good but the sound is a bit low
i will give it 8/10

If you are looking for a phone and have some dime to spend for it. Go for N79. But if you're practical and want excellent handset performance. N82 is your safe bet, especially if you're in for party night shots.
If you haven't got a phone yet. Buying n79 is alright. But if you already have n82 and planning to upgrade to N79. Believe me, it won't make any sense.

this is a nice phone.....
if ur budget is 20K, thn u shud go 4 this phone....

got the phone like a week back....the grey colors hot...nice on looks...stylish....a comfortable key pad..nice sound cliarity........the only phone with the same comfort as the n73.the only problem is that the clarity of the camera doesnt seem to be that of a 5mp.

can nebody tell me abt the 5mp camera of n79 i hv the ph but i feel the picture quality is nt lyk wat a 5mp camera shud have....do u all hv the same problem

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008Is a review coming soon? Because they put up live pics in the gallery alreadyYes. I downloaded the pictures in the gallery. It looks like the n79 is completely fingerprint proof. Plus the blend of plastic and metal looks really classy.
Whoever this anonymous M@T2 dude is, stop jumping from forum to forum trying to discredit nokia phones. You have never held any of these phones yet you talk pure nonsense. Stop behaving like a brainless oaf and Grow up.
