im owner of n79 its accelorometer is work only display auto rotate only that phone accelorometer is veery veeeery poor idont like its accelorometer i hate that

Most of the pix I took were on the run, barely looking at more than a vague glance of what I was shooting--no time to focus or plan a shot. The photos from my phone are stunning. All of the outdoor photos are bright, clear, a few have a yellow tinge. Night photos are OK, but I didn't change from automatic to a preset night scene. Night video is awful [no preset], but day video is very good. I got my phone in March, used, and am very pleased with it overall. I can even mount it on the desktop on my Mac and use the PC software with the free VirtualBox emulator. Still learning WiFi on this phone. Not as easy as my iPod Touch.

horrible 2 utilise smart movie.almost alL sets i have seen this application ends itself after some time .so a lot of difficulties in running avi format movies.

poor Flash quality
s... morepoor flash quality u say, but only the xenon flash is better.
try capturing images about a meter from the phone. u say that the flash is bad since it can't light things far away. it is not laser, it is just flash. even xenon flash can't shoot good images if u are taking pictures of things meters away.
slow operation is quite true, but not too bad.
frequent hangs is not true for me, in fact my phone only hangs every few weeks,.. perhaps once in 2 weeks or so.
low speaker volumes, well, this isn't a music phone, is it?
very short battery life with wifi, well duh, even a laptop's battery life will be shortened.
very slow rotating screen can be fixed by removing the effects, so that the rotation will be instant.

Mohib Raafay, 13 Jul 2010Hi friends; the cover of memory card has been broken, has anybody face this problem, is is rep... morei just used super glue on it, so that the thin transparent plastic strip would stick to the cover, but be careful if u try to do so,
u might accidentally stick the cover permanently if u are not careful.
the only drawback i have encountered after doing so, is that the cover does not fit perfectly like before, and it is a bit bulged, but no matter, as long as the cover is there, it is fine for me.

The best of the best exellent sound quality, the only problem is that the aluminium button falls out, but otherwise it's the best, you browse music like Ipods cameras is not bad, really good 3D tones

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2010anyone knows how to switch off the camera sound?? is there any option to put it off? those who want to turn off the camera sound, install mute camera.sis in ur fone.. then turn off the warning tone from the profile... works for me!!
