nizamani, 16 Apr 2010the best handset i ever use in Nokia in this set u'll find every thing what ever it is this is... moreI am using nokia n 79 mobile , there is some proble with its display. it has 5mp camra but picture quality like 3.2 mp . it is 3g but not wifi con.
i suggest u all , if u wnat a good camera phone , look for other phone.music quality is ok

the best handset i ever use in Nokia in this set u'll find every thing what ever it is this is birlnt by Nokia .but some how i got a problem in my LCD it have a 2 lines at the center of Scren i'l clam in Waranty or sel it ot and buy an other one bt i'l buy same as i have erly Nokia N79

may b u dint undrstnd wat i wanted to say. I m nt talking abt to buy a fon frm grey mkt. Obviously its better to buy any product frm its authorized dealers.
I was talking abt tv out cable tht its better to buy it frm common shops nd nt NPDs.
Anyway, this is wat i thought.

I have just got this phone... This is awesome guys..I love this phone. its a bit slower also the cam is not at its best. Overall a great phine.

Yeh, N79 supports tv out bt tv out cable is nt included in box. So u've to arrange at ur own. Best way to buy it frm any grey mkt shop rather than NPD stores as u'll find it at reasonable price.
Camera quality is ok not best in class. Bt it has so many other goodies too. Overall its a gud fon. I checked it out as my frnd owns it.
Actualy i m also in a dilemma whether to buy N79 or E52.
Anyway, hope i helped u.

just got my N79 yesterday and i love it, installed the latets ovi maps and still have 4 months navigation, i see on the review that the lock up time isnt impressive and takes two minutes well i managed it in 1 SECOND without A-GPS on while i was outside, now hws that for u :) can any1 tell me if they tried the ovi maps 3.3 version for the E66 and E71 and tried installing it on the N79? i was about to but then i thought nah just now i mess it up!

Here I am facing a problem, my phone is una... moreThis how i set my ringing tone on nokia series 60 since the nokia 3650 smartfone came out,,go to your song you want to in music player and select options and scroll down to "set as ringtone" and select ..That the only way ive known in 7 years and continue with that method altho there could be other ways..superb fone and feel bad for other persons having trouble..

phreanz_, 13 Apr 2010keypad lights was just working depending on the lighting condition. it has sensors that turn-o... morethankx for that tip cause sometimes my keypad will not light in dark,,ie dark street or bedroom at night...you cannot do anything without seing keypad so good tip..

Hi friend I hope you all are enjoying with ur N79! Here I am facing a problem, my phone is unable to play the ringtone at incomming call chosen by me located in memory card, it is only playing default nokia tone, what is the problem?

you can turn it off by pressing the power button once choose it manually..
