nounou, 03 Mar 2010Is the phone that bad guys??? please suggest for me if i should buy it or notFriend its up to you the matter of taking the phone. so far as the bad or good is concern you sould understand that the camera of this phone is not really good at night, and the problem of hanging is there, more over the radio also creat problem, the persons who praise extreamly about this phone are either Nokia dealer or agents of Nokia, to enhance the sell of the phone. so just think before investing a bulk of coins.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2010how to format my n79...??? For formatting ur phone dial "*7370#" on standby screen and it will ask for ur password enter 12345 but remember don't forget to take back up of ur data .

amber, 02 Mar 2010hi i jus bought n79 and im not very happy with the fone ive got d following queries 1)-does ... moreHi amber if you dont want to save sent message go to message option setting and then click on other theres option to save sent message or not this phone doesnt vibrate in silent mode check silent profile setting and off the vibrator and unfortunately this phone doesnt have smiley or clipart hope my answer helps

it is a very good phone having all function u want but its screen get damege in 3 months becz of display cable placed under the nevi wheel so i'll say go for n82

Yes.
Just go to facebook.com from the web browser.
Although you wont be able to chat, you can post updates, check notifications etc. from the phone.

1)-does the fone vibrate when on silent if so how do i do it
2)i dnt want to save sent msgs but dey automatically get saved in d sent folder...is dere a msg settings???
3) dis fone has no smileys or clipart...wat to do???

If you want an all rounder with every feature highly defined and perfect then invest more and you will get everything with N97 or omnia HD. And if you are not spending more, then don't blame N79 for that.

An OK phone, after using it, I would not say it was a perfect buy....Has all the features one would require, business man, student, professional, just anyone though...
Cons: Inconvenient with the sensor ON. its irritating, when the screen doesnt respond, so its best to switch it OFF...a Little slow in performance,keypad not that user friendly, document viewer only, cannot use the flash as a flash light, I think thats a very useful feature, and last the camera is not good. Works fine with the night mode, else the pics are pretty dark...
Pros: good looks, big screen, WIFI and 3G enabled, wifi is pretty efficient. Compatible with almost every software, N-Gage for gamers, GOod sound quality, 3.5 MM audio jack...
I would not refer it to anyone...Sorry Nokia, this wasnt such a great phone...
If anyone, using this phone managed to find a software to use the flash as a flashlight, please send me the site address or the software name at evilthrills@gmail.com...I would really appreciate your effort. Thankyou...:)
