The video clarity at High ... moreIncorrect. I was a huge Nokia large-sensor fanboy, plus I'm a photographer for a living. While the N8 was very good, it has now been surpassed by the latest generation of phones. This also goes for the 808. Forget the 1020- it was terrible and only offered RAW and a faster lens compared to the 808. The problem with all the Nokias from above is that the lenses were poorly coated, so flare was horrendous.
Now I'm on an HTC U11, also used a U12+ extensively and there are no comparisons. The Nokias have been surpassed. I prove this because I use my phone alongside my SLRs and have publications with the HTC.
let's also not forget that Panasonic with the 1" sensor
I have nostalgia- loved the size, the developed Belle OS, the battery life, but the nostalgia only goes so far.

But what to do.
One wring decision of Nokia to Microsoft. That changed the platform.

In January 2018 I bought an Android Phone with 6GB RAM but it's still lag once in a while, and I can't understand it why. Whereas my Good Old Symbian N8 could surf the net, navigate, and browsing with 256MB RAM, amazing !

I love this phone. I recently took my N8 out of the drawer and used for a while, still perfectly suited for shooting amazing quality pictures. I do miss the old on screen clock faces of the glance screen that were used before the Belle upgrade.

I was one of those buyers that never fully utilised the potential of their phones and just bought any old cheap crap phone. That's until I got an iPhone and then moved on to Android.

I would like to have N8 as companion to 808 but didn't get chance yet. It's a good collector item with great 12MP shooter. I'am stuck with Android too and waiting for Nokia to revive Meego.

Best phone i haved. To bad that Symbian and Meego is ded. They should be making them better so us, the user have more choice in terms of OS. If Nokia makes a divices like dis again I will give a try, until then I will stay with my Sony.

Do not buy it for daily use, cause it does not cut it. Internet has changed, htmls change, everything needs more power to funktion. This device is a legend, a device i loved. People here know that. Well, at least who knows me. But, for this small peace of great ingeniering is over. Still, camera is better then some devices still sold with 300 euros😃. I would tell you to buy then new nokia devices, they are good, and quallity is still theeir. But i would be an hypocrite, i my self own now an nokia 8 but i just hate android. I really hope Nokia grows so big that will revive meego. Till then i am stuck with android. Microsoft has fingered nokia fans, if you know what i mean...
