SCRATCH RESISTANT gorrilla glass just has i higher tolerance
it will crack and scratch but you have to be retarded to scratch the screen LOL

adkane, 08 Jan 2011come to think of it, the n8's slogan 'it's not technology, it's what you do with it' makes a h... moreur very very right...why use ur cp as a laptop/pc or a camera! cellphones r meant for calling and messaging ur dear ones, thats as simple as it is no complaining if it is a slow browser, touch screen flaws etc etc...u could just buy a simple phone like n1280 and u could complain afterwards!

opera 10.1 might crashes but not in all cases.
Its a bug in opera 10.1 and not a ram issue problem becoz our N8 can run large and heavy games easily like real golf HD,NFS SHIFT,ASPHALT 5, ETC.

You can read the CHM file right from
your browser by using a firefox
addon called as “CHM reader”,this works with firefox 2 and firefox 3
web browser.just download the addon,restart your browser.Next time when you open a chm file format you
can be view with Firefox directly with
table of content residing on the left
hand sidebar.CHM reader supports
linux and Windows operating system.
u can convert chm to pdf.

I also got something like a scratch in my screen when it went through a wrestle with my key bunch (it has 7 keys) and it simply wiped off. If it did on your screen too don't forget to post back.

You have confused some facts. Symbian^4 is not meego, Nokia had two smartphone os symbian and meamo, meego is the updates of meamo and it will feature in Nokia's upcoming high end smart phones, a symbian device will never get updater to meego. There will be no more symbian^4 the current symbian^3 will be called as symbian and it will get all the updates planned for symbian^4 including the ui update everyone needs. Symbian os is now fully touch screen centric unlike the early symbian version five features in devices like n97, 5800, x6 etc, what all it needs is some bug fixes, fully usable web browser, split screen text entry with portrait qwerty and a face lift, Nokia are fully into it and we will see updates over coming months. Nokia may or may not drop symbian in their N series but it will continue to be their main stream smartphone os. Don't bother about others saying symbian is bad, symbian address the need of a large portion of users and it is the most powerful smartphone platform currently. It will get it's facelift soon and sure address the shortcomings. If you are really interested in what's going on in Nokia all about symbian website and nokia conversations are two best places to check.

I thought N8 has a scratch-resistant gorilla glass display.. but unfortunately, when I dropped "once" then picked it up, I saw a 2" horizontal scratch on the display.. and I was so disappointed, especially when nokia somewhat bragged about its SCRATCH-RESISTANT GORILLA GLASS DISPLAY..

Makes no sense to phase out Symbian 3 as its the most stable OS with great battery life and Symbian has been around for 8 years.

thainese, 08 Jan 2011lately i've been getting Memory full close some other application and try again, and there's o... moreI dont know why, n8 has alot of RAM, i sometimes experience that on my n78 and by clearing history, catche, deleting cookie on opera mobile seems to solve the problem, give it a try.
