Hey i got a confirmation from a nokia employee that the firmware update will be available only by jan2011.. . with a much improved browser and minor changes to the OS.

"Flickable" homescreen, akin to the iOS and Android platforms, which moves along with touch instead of following after the transition is complete. This has been a major ire of the consumers and reviewers alike and will be welcomed by all users.
The browser has received a lot of flak in the past owing to its slow rendering performance and lack of several features, including multi-tab browsing and a clean user interface. Most of these concerns will be met in the new browser with a single address bar that will includes search as well. The address bar has been moved to the top of the screen. It is also possible to see the browser while typing text, this is one feature which all users would like to see implemented throughout the UI. The address bar also seems to have copy-paste integrated. Also, the browser now automatically moves to the browser window instead of the bookmarks tab.

[deleted post]n shall i post a video showing the speed n features of updated browser??? we dont have time like u guys posting videos around here... what a piece of joker... hell bent in proving n8 "a piece of paperweight" even though u wont be ever successful... still good luck... me adkane andres etc keep track of guys like you.. we note ur ip"TqCi" "vxue" n few others who r the same people bashing n8... so basically it doesnt bother us much... avery handful of people visit here before buying an unit... so ur crappy posts will hardy have any affect on the total no. of sales... god lucj again keep on barking

At CES 2011,it is confirmed that Google OS Android versions after Gingerbread will you use low frequency processors in mobile i.e 600,680 etc MHz as they doesn't need Dual core and 1Ghz processors for fast speed.
So all Android lovers just shut your mouth to complaining about nokia N8 processor.

If you are user who needs full Focus camera according to Nokia go for C7 and save some money. C7 is the sexiest device Nokia has produced. Both the phones are good, Major deferences are Camera,Design and Price. Hope it helps

I use a Philips SHE-9550 earset (because it's a best buy, great sound at an affordable price and deliver rich bass) and set my N8's EQ to POP (this is my personal taste) and you will get what you came for.

and whats more this will further worsen the android fragmentation prob.
