n8 users/lovers, just want to ask if the battery of our n8 is allowed to be fully drained? because from the store i purchased my phone, the salesman advised be not to fully drain the battery of my phone because if i do it, i cannot turn it on again and i need to go to nokia so that they will unlock it and turn it on again? i've been using my phone for 3 days and i immediately charge my fone as soon as the battery low warning appear..

and the previous post has some factual errors too
no doubt bada has some nice games, but it is attracting only a handful of devs only. And the support that samsung gives towards bada is nothing compaired to how nokia supports symbian
the n8 has a very good low light video recording capability, thus a video light is highly unnecessary. Check youtube if you dont believe it.
And i have yet to find proof that the wave can render 90mil tri/sec

2 days ago i download hyperX mode version 1.1 at http://mobileclickz.blogspot.com/, And i download a pot sign at http://cer.opda.cn using my certificate and key i signed the hyperX mode version 1.1 using pot sign and after operation complete i'll send it to my device after success installation, i restart my N8. I try the camera is really good result is more brighter than the original setting. per photos are 9MB-11MB the original setting is only 1MB-2MB.. Also the video quality increased brighter than the original setting... hypeX mode really magic the photos taken from N8 the grayish color taken in the dark are dissolve...The color is super bright amzing...
1.) download and signed HperX mode ver. 1.1
2.) Set to 12MP
3.) Color tone->vivid
4.) Sharpness->hardness
5.) Set to 10second..

it is well known that Xenon is better than LED flash in photography ,but you can't use the Xenon when capturing video,only the LED flash capable to produce continues lighting.

I've tried both the wave and n8 video capturing ,the video details on n8 are better than wave but the colors are better on wave,you can recheck your link

bada os is faster and more responsive than symbian--check youtube videos
6. 1200Mah vs 1500Mah battery. But talk time on wave is only 30mins more than that on n8. Is 300Mah only worth 30 extra mins.
I think in 30 min i can do more than 30 calls,so yes the 300Mah is worthy
7. 3.5 is better. Nothing personal
both n8 and wave using 16:9 aspect ratio so this 0.2"
difference in screen size is almost negligible ,compare your n8 with iphone4 your n8 screen will looks much smaller although both are 3.5"
in screens using 16:9 ratio the best sizes are 3.7" and 4"
also due to low screen resolution of the n8 on 3.5" screen will give a very pixilated screen.

I send it to 2 times to Nokia Care but same problem was there then i again send it on 14.12.2010 Dec to Nokia Care but still i didn't get mobile back. Every time Nokia care people and customer care say it will take 2 or 3 days more but that day is not coming and I am Still waiting for that day.
So Please Guys don't Buy N8. Nokia Service and handsets are really sucks....

i just laugh. both symbian & bada = lagging os
even nokia has prepared to abandon symbian and started to focus on developing an alternative os(meego) with intel.
why didn't you compare n8 with android, window and apple phones? it seems you admit n8 can't complete with them.
my suggestion? if u have money, get an iphone. if you don't, then choose whatever brand using a decent os.
