have used the n8 for quite a while now and like the reviewers say nokia has pulled out the big guns, this phone is amazing, i ran every application i could run on my phone upto 35 applications and it worked smooth as if it were handling no applications at all, the touch screen is also very great better response compared to previous nokia touch screens, i was kinda worried before buying the phone cause of all the people complaining on this site but theres nothing to worry about, as much i complain about everything, i couldnt find anything to complain about this phone except that nokia neva gave the car accessories like they did for my moms x6, besides that its the perfect phone and is easy to use by those ppl who aren't touch screen savvy, i can post pics of the open applications if anyone wants:)

The house cost is just the start so go to the app store and spend spend spend to furnish your iphone with the functions that nokia gives you with the n8. I am not saying that the iphone is not a good phone its just that my last name is not mittal.

Hi, I was a heavy user of Nokia phones and I did use Nokia N8 as well. Well I should say that Nokia N8 is not at all a bad phone. 1 thing I like most about Nokia phones is free music download, when I had Nokia N8 I downloaded lot of music albums from OVI music, I used to have all kinda songs in my pocket but the sad thing is you can't play those music files on any other phone. Currently I m using iPhone 4 and believe Ne it us the best phone I have ever seen or ever used. I did use galaxy S as well but the feel and comfort u get in iPhone u don't get it in any other phone. The only problem for me with iPhone is to get my Old Nokia song collection in my iPhone as I can't play those files in it.
As per my opinion Nokia N8 is a gud device if u can't pay more then 23000/- bucks but if you can some how manage 35000/- bucks then go for iPhone 4. It is really an amazing peice of technology or just a one time investment for another 1 year till the time iPhone 5 comes into the picture. As I always say "iPhone is not just a phone, it's a hobby".
So Nokia N8 is also a good phone as compare to iPhone 3G but defenetly iPhone 3GS and specially iPhone 4 is far ahead then Nokia as of now. Let's c Wht cones next from Nokia.
At last no matter Wht kinda phone do u have, if it full fills ur desire and requirements and evrything is good. Keep smiling frnds :)

Has anyone tried 64GB SD Flash with N8? I know it's not officially supported but I thought perhaps it might work. Also, I love my N8 and I don't know why a few people are complaining so much.

WARNING! Do not buy nokia N8 i bought my N8 on 26.12.2010 and on the same day the phone was restarting, hangin and going off without any warning i took it back the following where i had bought it and i was given another N8. What is sad is, the second phone worked fine for only 28 days and went off completely when i was playing one of games from ovi. I have tried everything on the manual and expert advice and nothing works. Till the NOKIA COMPANY comes clean on this like APPLE COMPANY did dont buy this N8 phone since this problem is being experienced by way too many N8 owners and nothing is being done about it, you might only become another victim.
