Well N8 is the best nokia phone ever to come,but I am very much feeling cheated after buying it bocz it was advertised to be scrath resistant display and body with gorilla glass, BUT I recently observed that my nokia N8 has got 3 scrathes on its screen I nevewr kept it anywhere near objects which would likely scrath it but it got scrathed buy just keeping it in the same pocket as motorola milestone , So GUYS NOKIA N8 IS NOT TOTLALLY SCRATH RESISITANT THE SCREEN ON MY DEVICE HAS FEW SCRACTHES

Can someone tell me hw this Nokia N8 functions is it worthy to buy such a expensive phone in compair to other Phone like sumsung galaxy'S' or Sony ericsson 'X10' and i need to know the current price of N8 in indian market. please help me out who is using this phone with price??

Its 2 hours now, that i bought my n8.
In one word, its awesome.
The colours are as bright as i'd see them on some HD tv.
Its fast, flexible.
And being even slower than android, its a pleasure to use symbian^3.
The following updates might add more to the N8.
I'm happy to buy it.
So will be you, if you do. . .
Just make sure you get the 2nd batch.

settings==>phone==>phone management==>security settings==>phone and sim card==>"phone auto lock period"
you can set it to "none", like me
and yea, talking about burying settings deep down :D

settings==>phone==>display==>"screen/keylock time-out"
there you can set it from 1min-30minz

nokia n8 got really great look..i became a fan of nokia more and more.i love its orange colour that i own. its design is perfect. best phone of nokia..i dont think any phone in market can be compared with it now..its perfect.

i just bought the n8 after reading that the n8 got so many faults,so i was a little scared that the phone will be dead or not and im excited that mine is perfect. its an orange one and is in perfect conditions. all applications r working well..music quality is superb and rocking on headphones. camera is also excellent. but just need its settings for best quality 12 mp experience. overall im so happy & proud to own it.best phone of nokia...Iphone4 is not even near to it. nokia n8 is the perfect mixture of Iphone and traditional nokia softwares. so i prefer everyone try it once.and u all will feel u did the right decision!!!

eyeshield, u may go to tools > settings > connection > access points, then start to delete ur WLAN point.
as soon as you deleted it, you may activate your WLAN your WLAN is detected and might ask you for a password. Continue enter your password and that's it. You may online after that.
