I bought a nokia N8.each day the screen is frozen and i can not use my HS.now it's totaly frozen and i can not een switch it off.
it's a night marre.i had the nokia x6 and it's much better.
For the camera..i can not see any difference between the 5megapixel i had before and the 12 in nokia n 8.

I'm about to buy Samsung Wave or Nokia N8... I know that Samsung Wave has better resolution screen and is faster than Nokia N8 but other than these, i think that Nokia N8 has more and better features..
Overall which is the best phone to buy..??
Any opinion on these two phones would be appreciated..

Great phone to use.. I got mine on 5th December. Picture clearity is awesome with 12MP camera. Just can't resist clicking...................

people i want to know one thing if N8 hang what is the way to restart b/c its battry did not come out so how we handle this issue ???

I dont own an N8 yet. I have an N95 8GB but i have been following this forum since the phone was announced and I remember that the problem you describe was faced and resolved by others here before.

i m not happy with nokia n8.camera indoor result is worse.my previous nokia 5233 2mp cam is better indoor result.all my saving spend on n8,very disoppinte.pls anybody guide me how better indoor cam result ?pls reply

Janus, 15 Dec 2010I am waiting for my N8, can't wait anymore!! Kinda disappointed that it does not have an eyele... more Yep it does have an eyelet. I;ts located right at the bottom, towards the left ( if looking at the back of the phone ) in-line with the Xenon flash.

I am waiting for my N8, can't wait anymore!! Kinda disappointed that it does not have an eyelet, im rather clumsy.. Hardly a deal-breaker, of course, and I believe that A phone needs to look the part as well, And you guessed it the nokia N8 has it all :-)

joe, 15 Dec 2010the n8 is a brilliant phone, ive had it since it came out over here in the uk and i cant faul... moreyup, i believe every word u said :D
the mail app needs a rewrite, it lags the phone crazy at some times, when it synchronizes... also the attachments size are limited to 2mb... i hope those will be fixed in the coming update :)

Nokia N8 Is the Best Multimedia Phone Its really rock, i bought mine color orange las... moredidnt you have any problems yet?
im worried about its battery life and what to do in the future if ever it trips.
that holds me from buying the phone.

the n8 is a brilliant phone, ive had it since it came out over here in the uk and i cant fault it.. ok its froze a few times but ONLY on the email app. the camera is amazing very well built phone with decent battery. ive just sold mine on ebay because im more of a app person then a feture person so im going with the iphone but i can see myself going back to the n8 when i get tierd of the iphone. love pranking people using the fm transmitter in tech shops !!
