blah blah king, 12 Dec 2010amen bro..even i dont hav a problem with the native browser but jus wished it was a tad better... morethese fandroids have too much to say about how bad symbian is and haven't even touched the new symbianOS
i'm suprised they have enough battery life to talk so much crap on their phones XD
they must have it always plugged in and charging

i'm so waiting for PR1.1 they said the browser will be as good and the microB browser on the N900
and that's still the best browser of all time

It's an amazing phone. Wondeful! You can do everything with It, but, its virtual keyboard is not comfortable. I prefer real qwerty keyboard...
Some persons do like the keyboard of the N8, I prefer the N97 or N97 mini keyboard.

i use it more then opera mobile 1... moreamen bro..even i dont hav a problem with the native browser but jus wished it was a tad better..bt am sure nokia wont dissapoint us n will fix it..
n thn these fandroids wont hav anything to say..will sit in their homes cry

i use it more then opera mobile 10 now a days XD
i just want the new browser to have a slightly better bookmark look like how opera has it
and multiple screens selector some what like how opera mobile has is and i'm good

Stuntman, 12 Dec 2010I think that the Android browser is just better than the N8 browser. That is what I mainly us... morelet me answer that for you..these are the things i really find amazing on this phone..they may or may not be in android phones...especially not in this price range..
1.the 12mp snapper(obvious)
2.hdmi port
3.fm transmitter
4.lifetime free voice navigation..the new ovi maps beta is simply outstanding..
5.dolby sound system
6.48gb memory capacity(16+32)
7.usb on the go
8.stereo audio recording(dual microphones)
9.hd video recording(it gets 30fps and continous autofocus with a simple hack)
10.it can play almost any video thrown at it without installing any app for it..
i think that summarizes why we all love this phone so much..o n did i mention that u can use it as a laptop by connecting it to a hdtv and using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard...edit docs, surf the net ...pretty much everything a laptop can do...
and the browser problem u mentioned will be permanently solved in feb n till then am happy with my opera 10..
dont take it the wrong way nothing agaisnt android or you..just my n8...:)

sore_i, 12 Dec 2010Any of you guys experiencing wifi issues in N8? Mine won't stop connecting to our wifi. I ende... morethis might possibly be because of the mail app....just check the inbuilt mail application and its synchronisation frequency...if the synchronisation freq is set as 'always' then that would be forcing your maobile to connect to available internet connection...hope it helps

Any of you guys experiencing wifi issues in N8? Mine won't stop connecting to our wifi. I ended/closed all apps, set widgets to offline mode but still when I manually disconnect it in WLAN wizard, it will automatically connect a few seconds later. My unit is still 24hours old. Thanks in advance for your replies

iPhone - made for rapidity , simple os and great movies
Nokia N8 - for better photos and movies
Samsung Galaxy S - for better movies playback on his screen :D

never touched the samsung galaxy s what ever model since there are a million of then
but the N8 i was impressed with the progress they've made from s60 5th to symbianOS

STEVE, 12 Dec 2010does anybody know if skype on n8 supports video calling as well? i used it is perfect but i ca... moresorry man, you cant make videocalling on skype. i hope maybe new version of skype for symbian will fix this.
