dr.., 11 Dec 2010has anyone inserted memory card,if yes 1. how much memory u have inserted 2. does the phone... morei have 16gb microSDHC class 4 with fully loaded of 40 movies with no hang and laggy 284MB remaining, and my built in memory is fully loaded of thousand of songs 800MB remaining no hang and laggy, my n8 is fully loaded and its works fast and responsive. Dont buy class2 memory card. if you buy a micro SDHC class 4 and class 6 only support for n8....

[deleted post]do you even know what hardware is? i have this device and its great! not to mention it can even open 3 games simultaneously. and it didnt lagged and hanged on me. maybe your just one of those persons who just comments on things that they dont even have!

too many people lie here , someone says 50 mb game lags , what nonsense yesterday i downloaded 150mb golf , its smooth , nfs is smooth , gtr is smooth ! not a single game lags , i have some 4 hd games now , i tried all , 3 games were simultaneously open and still it didn lag a bit , must say n8 multi tasking is awesome !!! android and iphone still not as good as mt as n8

Other games run quite well actually. Is all due to the laziness of gameloft developers in porting those games to the symbian^3 platform.

you still dont understand do you? taking a screen shot is like taking a picture of whats on the display but from the phone itself. So no matter what screen a device has, the screenshot remains the same. unless you meant taking a picture of the screen using a camera, it wont make a damn difference

Dont need to limit your search to ovi store only. be a little more hardworking and search online. There are some games and games emulator that are not posted on ovi store.
You dont even have a n8 (i assume you have a wave) and yet you come here and spread lies and bullshits to other people who wants honest opinions

m, 11 Dec 2010like any other mobile giant, there is no "perfect" or "ultimate" mobile ga... morefirmware update will fix that cause symbian3 is stable as hell for the first version
i've had mine for a month and 10 days so far and i love it more eachday cause of how handy it is
and nokia is smarter with there updating system
now instead ofa huge update every 3 months
they send out the the updates for apps when they are done
so if it needs fixing or a tweek they send out an update and it gets fixed
then the big one will drop next year in feb

jasminelo, 11 Dec 2010my n8 social network always keep said script alert: sorry reinstall and uninstall communities ... moretry searching @ google for ovi store 2.0 app, then download the app. the top apps should work by then. Try changing your wifi settings so that your phone connects only to a wifi signal, not gprs/hsdpa signals. and try changing how the wifi device consumes power like power saving settings in wifi.

like any other mobile giant, there is no "perfect" or "ultimate" mobile gadget ever invented in this lifetime. why? because if it there's one mobile gadget that is perfect in every aspect of mobile ingenuity, then we won't be at this website hating and praising one mobile brand after another. It's thesame as human beings, the moment all is perfect and peaceful is the time we lose our humanity. That's the same with mobile companies, they thrive thru imperfection cuz we, at the end of the chain, are opting to upgrade our gadgets as we get nearer to perfection... if there is such a thing.
so, as for me, using my n8 for the past 2 days was hell. i'm a android fan/user and iOS hater, getting back the symbian badnwagon was a headache. i have no choice but to impress the misses cuz it was her xmas gift for me. But, i learn to compromise and as of this moment i could say N8 is not as bad as I thought it would be... but, i would hope for a better gadget in the future.

T_T over weekend ? anyone pls help >download first ovi store 2.0 apps so that the ovi store and top apps will work, as for the social networking mine works on the normal range. there's nothing to be impressed about the social networking integration of ovi cuz it lacks versatility. solution? I downloaded a 3rd party app called snaptu and it kinda made facebooking more flexible than the ovi. hope it helps!
