This phone is really bad..when i buyed this phone after ne month this phone dosn't swith on then i go to noki care they replace this phone after getting new phone again after one week again same problem again they said that we have to send this to head office again waiting for phone its really bluddy mistake when i buyed this phone ...poor quality poor nokia care service everything is poor ....its like that my money got lost somewhere really bad really

it's indicate at the package, Don't buy class 2 memory card not support For Nokia N8, you have two option class 4 and class 6 its only support for Nokia N8,, My MIcro "SDHC" is RIDATA class 4, Fully loaded of 40 movies 1AVI, and mostly loaded is mp4 format on my n8, My remaining memory to my card is only 284MB with no hang and laggy, and my built in internal memory is fully loaded of thousand of songs with no hang and laggy,, 800MB remaining..
Nokia N8 is the best NSERIES lots of improvement in performace compared to previous NSERIES, Its really fast and very responsive... No need to convert your movies..

This is the worst phone i ever had,
Very hard to configure APN,Email account, no OTA support, OVI map work 1 time on 10, bad battery lyfe and cannot change the battery 2 time a day because it is like the Iphone battery not accessible, OS is 10 years behind others so the bottom line, I HATE THAT PHONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

STEVE, 10 Dec 2010Does anybody know how to overcome the problem of the phone not being recognised by ovi suite w... moreu hav 3 options to get connected in pc suite mode 1st hav patience wait fr sumtime fr pc to recognise after connecting. 2nd try connecting after sum interval and 3rd just ininstall pc suite and install again and try. all the best.

Does anybody know how to overcome the problem of the phone not being recognised by ovi suite when connected with the cable? everythink is ok when connected with the bluetooth but there are a lot of limitations when you cannot use the cable.

[deleted post]i was confused what to buy nokia n8 or nokia n900 but when i used both the phones i liked the nokia n8 because it has a good camera and also i offers you a 12 MP camera, nokia n8 internet surfing is much better than nokia c7 and nokia n8 comes with HDMI port which you will not get in nokia c7 so my opinion is that go and grab nokia n8

Hang?Laggy?restarting issue?UI Not responsive? This not true, Im using my nokia n8 since December 1 until now its work perfectly. My N8 is fully loaded of songs and movies with microSDHC 16gb class 4, I've never encountered any problems, My N8 is fully loaded and its work fast and properly..
N8 is the Best Mobile phone now in the market. why?
1.) N8 it has 16gb built in memory plus expandable microsdhc up to 32gb,
2.) N8 it has FM Transmitter,
3.) N8 it has USB OTG, HDMI
4.) N8 12MP camera its very awesome,
5.) N8 Made Aluminum Anodized, Gorilliaz Glass Display,
Yes N8 is low processor, but in reality its work fast and very responsive,

All is perfect but that supplied headset in the retail package--it... moretry to clean the headset with a cloth, put a little rubbing alcohol... be sure that the headset connector is shiny again and then let it dry.. it works for me perfectly after doing it... never use water with salt!!!!

i have the N8...the features are good....the worst part of phone is that it hangs many times a day....rest the phone is good to use...

All is perfect but that supplied headset in the retail package--it... moreI also faced same problem for my N8 of "speak now". this problem appears if headfon pin is not fixed properly. so buy another headfon which suites to N8 and try your problem will be solved.
if headfon pin is partially inserted, speak now will appear continously.....

my friend have this garbej....the internet is very poor compare to my wave..and the screen look ordinary....phone itself is slw ....and hanged 2 times in a day...its a bulshit phone.
