Its beatiful i bought it yesterday i do not have to convert any video i just drag and drop like its mp3, and the camera is wow. I upgraded from the N96 i just love Nokia.... Take that Apple oh i forgot the HDMI

you won't get wrong if you choose between Nokia N8, Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire or Desire HD
these are top smartphones for now
Iphone has many problems including signal dropping, no bluetooth transfers and a lot of limitations in the OS.

Is it possible to install Android on the N8?
I heard from some people it can be done with a hack or something, but I can't find anything on the internet.

Just downloaded Real Gold 2011 from my ovi suite software update for the N8... wow!
The game is free...amazing!

its fun posting this comment with my nokia n8. Grt phone, gives perfect sound with my sony deepbass hndsfree, nice pictures, features... N8 is sweat!

My N8 may very well be the first one in my country and the first my friends have seen. For others its the phone they 'heard about'. A friend swore to sell his new Blackberry 9700 in favor of the N8. There is really nothing like it is there?

i get 2 days of use on mine sometimes plus i have the wellness diary widget running 24/7

N8 wont stand 2 days with the proper usage of web, songs, gps and everything. maximum is around 1 day and 5hours or something

Sound quality is okay and not that great with the bundled handsfree compared the SE walkman sounds.
Battery life sucks. may wanna turn on the battery saving every time.
a slippery phone
other options are pretty good.

Only thing that really drains the battery is using GPS, so if you use it for satnav a l... moreim waiting till after christmas to get this phone, I tried this phone in the shop at jb hi five and it is WAY better then what some people say, and for the camera WOW.... it just blew me away, and for those people that say that it is slow are incompetent...... nokia did bloody good with this phone I fell inlove with it and coudnt stop playing with it, it was just an off the hook camera phone... even out preforming todays standard digi cams on the market, I dont need a digital camera now.........

Hey i have purchased a Nokia N8, And it did connect to card reader as well with the USB on Go functionality.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010Yeah the gps can eat up money thats why I set connectivity to 'wifi only' when using GPS. Work... morewhat are you talking about, using the maps on the nokia n8 is free. They are already installed on to the phone.
