I'm returning this phone. It won't even turn on after a couple days of use. It just went dead. At first I thought the battery was low, so I tried recharging it. 15 minutes later, it still wouldn't turn on. This is unacceptable.

N8 support Dvix. so try go to stagevu.com. download straight to the phone. average movie is like 700 to 900mb. it still on HD.!

I have been using it for months and I have no prblems with it. I am a huge fan of the N series and N8 did not disspoint me! Nokia all the way!

And my use wasn't heavy.. 2 n a haf hrs of callin a day.... Around 1 hr browsing.. A hr n a haf of music playback.. (An hour in headphones n bout haf an hr on the loud-speaker).. Around 45 minutes gaming! And lil bit of time pass.. Txtin n all n chkin all options n apps.. About an hr.. Dats it!
Dunno why I had to charge it 2 times a day....

No doubt N8 is an amazing phone.. The HDMI support, USB-on-the-go, 12 MP amazing Camera, Stylish n stunning looks, are all feathers in its caps, dat can challenge any other cell-phone in the market.. Symbian 3 is a step closer to the latest Android n iOS as well..
But what lets dis phone down bigtime is the poor, very poor battery backup.. Had to charge it 2 times a day. I mean whats da use of all dese features if ur down on da basic things..? Calling, txtin n batt backup are the most imp things in a cell-phone.. I got da phone.. Its amazing.. But da batt backup is too bad.. Cant live di way.. Had got it frm a friend's shop.. So returned it after 3 days of use.. Sad I returned it.. Missing it.. But I had to.. Dere's no way I can live dis way!

I've had my phone for 3 weeks now and love it. The stability is good and the battery life is good. The only thing I miss is Skype but I heard Skype is releasing Symbian3 application before Christmas!!

hi i want to share now i used ip4 and my wife used n8 green colour,i think n8 is good perfomance bcoz i look n8 screen is good,camera is not bad bcoz,internet is fast and nice,n8 id high end nokia but fan samsung and iphone dont compare la with u samsung galaxy s with n8 bcoz u look price?samsung is more high price but n8 is good price many people can buy n8,iphone 4 and htc desire hd more high price so please stop complaine..have pro and contra all phone not all is perfect thanks

3 times I had exps that I was not able to change profile from offline to general has to do full reboot!!! Unable to change profile msg appeared on screen. Any1 has d same problem ???

I got my phone at 6pm! must say, the touch screen is quite responsive...wanna load my music etc and really try it out!

i am having n8. when i am playing hd videos on my phone in mp4 or avi format the audio of that movies is not there. hence the audio is there in movies but not in phone. the video quality is good but no audio. and this video is not converted. dirctly downloaded and played on phone. the file is about 2.50gb. help me out.

Note: Only pendrives with FAT32 file system can be read

Guys, its a GREAT phone. But there is only 1 thing thats stopping me from buying this. Its the typing interface. Yukk!!! I hate it. Just like the old 5800, you have to type on the popup screen and click on ok. Totally uncool when compared with the iphone's typing interface. I hope Nokia would come up with something new in this regard.
