samuel william, 23 Nov 2010Hi Guys,
My N8 is 2 weeks old and my battery dries up very quickly...it comes only for a day... morecheck if your wifi is on
check if widgets are on
check if programs are running in background.
Turn those things off when you don\t need.
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2010hah Eldar M. is a mastes for mobil phones and you are just an amater dudeEldar is a master of LIAR with a shitty mouth for Nokia. He is just a desperate Nokia hater but nothing else. He is downgraded as a troll and a liar a long time ago when he made a review in which Samsung Camera performed ridiculously better than N8!
One thing more the battery is indeed long lasting! I will be giving more honest ob after the phone hits 1 week! As of now n8 rocks!
I got my n8 white silver last 3 days ago!! here goes my honest assessment of the phone... The screen is very bright indeed very sensitive to touch the fact it's a capacitve screen! love it so far cause a lot of apps can be installed and functional like resco viewer, spb shell v3.7.1, FS caller,Isms v1.10, mw dictionary, photo browser, smart crypto, lcg xplore, jukebox, smart movie, and many more... It played xvid/dvix videos so smoothly, hyperx mod makes it very astonishing when recording videos at 30fps and taking pix with 100% quality beyond what satio and pixon12 could possibly take! kinetic scrolling is amazing yet not as smooth as ip4 and galaxy S... Sound? omg!!! dolby at it's best the video player is brilliant yet lack of settings for videos zooming or changing aspect ratio to make it better in viewing hd videos!!! 9mp pics are better than using 12 cause its full screen!! The worst thing that i observed was most of the time the phone reboot especially if i changed themes and some part of the screen is not as responsive! after 72 hours of uaage i had counted almost 12x the phone reboot! But it does not mean i will sell it no i won"t those problems i think can be fixed with the next firmware hope so! I still recommend n8 than satio which i had last 3 days ago! Go buy n8 now!
[deleted post]http://www.mobile-review.com/a...rak-en.shtml .....okay according to this article N8 has some defects BUT at the bottom of the article says:-
"Customers planning to buy Nokia N8 or Nokia C7 should wait until February or March of 2011 or take risks. If you are lucky or ready to wait until your phone is replaced or repaired go ahead."
If the defect manage to be rectified... will the negative comments turned to good comments?
wakakaka well u all should be able to predict the answers of these complainers ahaks?s
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2010hah Eldar M. is a mastes for mobil phones and you are just an amater dudeAn expert, yes......but a mature and professional reviewer, absolutely not! (like cough*gizmodo*cough)
hitz, 23 Nov 2010I have been using N8 for a month now (US). It is simply stunning. I do not have any problems w... moreMy experience is same as your.
No any problem whatsoever.
Still not found the way how to attach USB OTG in NTFS format. FAT32 work perfectly.
Only one Person will be Happy about the Power problems some Nokia N8s are having,is Eldar on www.mobile-review.com,he demoaned the N8 when Nokia gave him a Prototype of this Top Class Mobile.an tried to really pull the N8 down,an even detered Nokia off releasing the N8 to Early,an this made me an loads of others very angry,we saw the N8 in April an was dying to get hold of this mobile very early, but he fell out with Nokia an made us having to wait at least 7 months before the N8 was finally released,an really glad i waited for this release instead of buying an a alternative mobile,Well Done Nokia!
I have been using N8 for a month now (US). It is simply stunning. I do not have any problems with my N8. Work great right out of the box. World’s first Penta Band phone.
My experience with Nokia N8:
Great call quality for both voice and video calls.
12 MP camera with great picture quality.
Video recording in HD.
Excellent build quality.
Battery life is very good (easy two days with daily 2-3 hrs of Music, 2-3 hrs of radio, 2-3 hrs online, 100+ minutes of calls; WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth are always on.
HDMI out with 5.1 Dolby digital sound.......awesome, added a new dimension to my HT System
FM transmitter (I play my favorite tunes and mix whenever I am with my friends, in their car)
GPS with Voice Guided Navigation, which does not require data connection.
File sharing (pictures, ringtone, video clips, documents, etc) and Sync with my Macbook via Bluetooth (Iphone users wouldn’t know what I am talking about).
USB on the go… really handy when I want to share a large file with friends (my N8 reads USB flash drive as well as external hard drive).
True multitasking… It does NOT restrict you from doing what you need and want to do…
Things I miss on my N8: Full keyboard of E90 and Touch Interface/experience of iPhone.
IMHO, N8 is way better than other eye candies out there…
I saw many comments about N8 problems, I wonder if those comments are from legit N8 users.
My Previous phones:
HTC Touch Pro
Nokia lovers and hates, your comments and questions are most welcome.

[deleted post]WOW!! i dont care :). My n8 is still alive an kicking ass. And if your phone is dead just give it to nokia care and they will give you a new one.
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2010I admit I hate Nokia, been a Nokia user for years. I stayed loyal to them when I could have go... moreThats why you have got to be smart at choosing phones my man. Every company has their own number bad phones, Motorola and LG are the worst IMHO, followed up by samsung, nokia, SE and HTC (apple not included cause all of their phones are pure crap :) )
My friend bought a samsung Soul slider cause it looked very attractive to her, but after a few months she complained about the camera and music player being not up to mark. Another example is my friends HTC touch, after 1 year of usage, the screen start to become unresponsive (u need to press it hard, REAL HARD!)
I support nokia but i've foreseen the failure of the n96 and the n97 by just looking at the specs and price. But the n8, i believe that it will be successful, not n95 successful, but enough to put nokia back in the game. So you see mike, dont just go blindly for a phone, survey it first.
