Anonymous, 22 Nov 2010Disappointment in N8.....bought for 2 weeks not even have te chances to load any application. ... moreIs it true when the phone's battery runs out the phone switches off and never comes back untill you reinstall the software cause it has a HUGE issue with its software????? please give me a feed back about this!!
Is your N8 failing to boot up? Then why not try putting it in the fridge for a couple minutes, it's working for a lot of people out there. Tip taken from Nokia's very own discussions web site.
And you thought Iphone4's antenna issues was bad lol.

[deleted post]Yes it has Arm11 processor, obviously because Nokia cant make Symbian run on modern ARM processors like cortex A8 and snapdragon.
Proof: N900 is the only Nseries phone with a modern processor, and also the only one not running Symbian.
proof 2: Nokia know that ppl want better processors, yet tehy put Arm11 in all new high end devices (N8 and E7). Why are high end models so underpowered when its almost year 2011, compared to N900 that is a 2009 model.
Yes, Symbian will not run correctly on newer processors, so Nokia is moving backwards from N900, both in respects to hardware and operating system. Bad strategy, instead of curing the disease (symbian) they are curing the symptoms. Maybe for now the graphics accelerator can hide the problems with the weak processor, but they need a better solution for long term, and by then samsung is already the worlds #1. N8 is a nail in the cofin for nokias market dominance.
Hey guys I just bought my N8 3 days ago and I wanted to share my experience and I can say that it´s been great!!

the games run very fast and smooth, the video quality is great too, so if you guys have any questions I can answer them all
nixson, 22 Nov 2010can u please tll me the sound quality of this phone?Speakers on the N8 are very loud indeed,an for Music an Videos spot on,just wished the speakers were on the side of the N8 an not at the back,o.k you have rim to help the speakers a bit,but laying the N8 down an the lcd visible to you,the sounds from the speakers is not as loud,so you have to lay the N8 down with no screen visibility to you to get the full sound,i have bought a stand to put my N8 in so i can still see the lcd screen an make sure i get full volume from the speakers as well

Sagda1, 22 Nov 2010I am considering a new phone and in the running are HTC Desire, Sony X10 Experia and Nokia N8.... moreGo for the N8. For business its great. Just dont buy Made in China as those have issues. Trust me on that. The HTC Desire is also a great phone but you'd miss the added features of the N8 which bodes well for functionallity. The lower processor also isn't as power hungry as that of the Desires. You want a phone that easily lasts a day and more before its next charge.

i don't see my pics

please help me
what can i do with it
I have this phone 1 month and its a great phone. People who say that the phone is hanging and freezing should buy a nokia 1100... Great phone, good OS.
One question to users that are speaking bad about N8... Are you being paied to talk bad about nokia n8? Do you know how to use a phone correctly?
Hardware fault? Ok,the expensive IP4 have antenna issues lolol so every phones have their problems.
I am considering a new phone and in the running are HTC Desire, Sony X10 Experia and Nokia N8. For me, as I do alot of calling for business, call quality is the number one factor( after all it is supposed to be a phone) build quality, ease of texting and access emails is also important.
My Sony touch screen W995 is broken, so for the time being, I have reverted to my 5 year old Nokia which still works like a dream. I am tempted by the latest N8 even though the OS is still behind the other two mentioned. From my experience, Sony are slow in updates and like Nokia have made some real lemons over the last 3 years, although I am impressed by HTC in general.
Any advice guys?
