limo, 21 Nov 2010good phone but i have a problem with my wifi it did not disconnected always search and connect... moreturn the phone offline first and then turn WLAN search off. It will work.

if that's true whatta hell nokia is doing?, you make first impression one time and reviews has sayed all over the world that browsing is very bad and laggy. Nokia should put that java off by default
How people could know things like that, even reviews has nothing to say about that.
Sorry but i don't believe that, do you have video proof? some heavy sites without java turned on?

good phone but i have a problem with my wifi it did not disconnected always search and connects by itself and i tried many things nothing solve it and many guests here have same problem and no pone give a silution

Are you kidding me? if you are saying net is good, you previous phone has to be Nokia phone. Web browsing with N8 is below average NOW, we wait how the new browser change that. Now the browser is very laggy.

It picks up the word as soon as i am done with swyping.

nokia n8 not so bad fone that early posted by peoples . I am usefull for smart look andiodised alimunim body auto focus 12 mp camera good battery 3.1bluetooth 16 gb memory expendable 48 gb are good to plus point

very good alternative to smartphone market . Nokia has realiesed to consumers to select 1 n8. 2. c6. 3. e7 .4. c7. 5. n900 .are same quality but this way go to more progresses .I LIKE NOKIA ALL PHONES

Been using N8 for less than 3 weeks.Feel that the processor is extremely slow, even writing sms, the alphabet only appear as word by word.Ovi Store has very limited applications,games...etc, cannot compare to Samsung & Apple.Internet connection to website is very slow & website does not appear as a full page, cannot switch from left to right & vice versa.

i see good at entertaintment . Key board is classic,photo best urgent calling 2 good , NOKIA FINLAND BASED CORPORATION you must start your personel carier and server in service provider with public relation,# i imagien that you will market leader

Been playing with my Nokia N8 for almost 10 hours now.
I am falling in love with it.
Absolutely amazing device.
Photos are top notch.
Installed
- Opera
- Energy Music
- Angry Birds
- Need for Speed
- Currency Convertes
- Weather Updates
I did get memory full message once but then I open 10 apps at the same time.
Sound is amazing.
Memory Card had 1500 photos. Took 15 minutes to read for the first time.
No Hanging problem as of now as I reached count of 22apps at one time. This was only for testing though.
When multiple apps are opened, closing is not so fast. You try to close them but they stay open. No complaints regarding GPS.
Inbulit browser is not so bad but will prefer OPERA Mobile. But Opera Mobile doesn’t support Multi-touch so it’s like no clear winner.
Battery have died within hours of use but that is, I am constantly doing something.
All and all I think I made a nice decision and I have chosen to go SIM Free in UK. Reason being, I don’t want any career to modify the internal software.
What else, I am loving it.
Sound quality is good via Bluetooth. Have tried
- Sony Ericsson MW-600
- Nokia BH-905
- Sony DR-BT21G
The supplied headset are also good. I am not fan of a charger.
My Seagate 250GB hardisk is not recognizes by USB OTG functionality.
Video playbook is so cool. Without encoding loaded 2 movies and here we are.
Video recording quality is not likeable but audio recording is top notch.
I would say, no regrets provided it doesn’t die.
I would be happy to take any questions.
And one more thing SWYPE is too cool.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2010this phone lags..sound quality is not good..except the camera nothing is special there..it lags but ppl seem to b happy coz it lags less dan 5800 did. 680 vs 434 MHz on the processor, not even twice as fast.
i say it again: Nokia chose ARM11 coz they cant make symbian run correctly on newer procesors. They know no1 want ARM11 but they have no choice, their job now is to convince ppl that ARM11 is still good enough. Its like Dell or HP would try to sell us Pentium4 processors over Core i7. So who here is planning to buy a brand new pentium4 pc?
