i plug my pc to a screen just like the n8 hdmi out to screen
i connect any memory drive to it
i connect any wireless or bluetooth keyboard and mouse to it
dolby surround sound
fm transmitter
remote desktop access
multitask and backward symbian application support from symbian 3rd ed 5th ed to symbian3
what ever people say or think iphone = ipad lol
the more you dont buy nokia less features you get
why is maemo meego and symbian 3 work with any bluetooth device all have tv out ui and work as pc when no other os can offer all those on board specs why do you still buy iphones or ipad when you can get ipod touch and a real smartphone

Anyways the n8 is more natural while samsung wave has brownish tint. And the n8 25 fps recording can be solved with a mod which upgrades it to 30fps together with continuous auto focusing

the n8 has the best camera a mobile phone can have right now ishit or iphone camera cant even c the nokia n82 which has xenon flash the iphone does not even have xenon flash to tell you the truth symbain 3 is so slow nokia need to fix this problem soon with a firmware update

I rather have a fast phone with good multimedia feature such as good camera than the fastest phone but bad camera. How fast can you get a phone running. Can it run as fast a laptop. if not than forget it. The speed difference is just marginal.
So in the end a phone that can do more things is the winner and thats the N8. Lets say a N8 opens a website at 3 seconds and a Galaxy S for example opens at 2 seconds. Would that extra 1 second save that much time moreover N8 can do Flash not the Galaxy S.

snonre, 14 Nov 2010Pls explain ur prob in with more detailthe screensaver just doesnt work. I see the home page ,even after 1 hour. Yes my settings are ok. Its supposed to show the big clock in 2 mins of no use. I tried hard reset too. Thus, the battery dies faster. I checked the web, many people have same problem and they think this is due to a bug

there is no perfect OS in this world, there are some things that symbian can do over android and vice versa.
UI is a subjective matter, it depends on the persons taste.
Apps. How many of them are actually useful and not repetitive? For me is quality over quantity.
What can android OS do but Symbian^3 cant?

[deleted post]Should be the other way round. People who tink of buying Wave have to think 100 times as the Camera has lots of Blown highlights. The whites are all blown. As a photographer we all prefer under exposed shots than over exposed coz we can save the under exposed shots. Over exposed shots are very very hard to save.
