Today I went to buy this phone at a NPD Bangalore (India). After seeing *dummy N8* phones I just somehow didnt like it. But luckily shopkeeper was having his own working N8. Original phone looked a lot better, infact really nice, touch experience is good, really very smooth. Typing messages on portrait mode was also very easy. Overall I liked this phone very much. I saw black color phone.
But I noticed 4-5 scratches on the back side of his phone. I asked him how he got so many scratches, he said by mistake it was dropped. He must not have been using this phone for more than 20 days. Now I also suspect N8 has really some *paint* problem. Can people who are already using it have also notices this problem. I don't like keeping any cover on the mobile phones.
Finally I didn't buy the phone and decided to wait for sometime until Nokia fixes it.

deepest_sense, 12 Nov 2010i've found the sound of music in earphone isn't good.it's the coz of no matching between the p... morehi there if u wanna best music experience then try sennheiser headphone any one which one is suteble for u i am using hd 515 and its the best one out therein mid range.but that one is over the ear if u like over the ear then u can try any over the ear,over the ear give u more bass and nice qualty of music.and comfortable as well.better than in the ear.

i have read all the opinions for the last few days and ihave decided to buy the n8. it is awesome...i have a mobile shop here...i used the xperia x10 then i phone4 and then finally n8. in bangladesh nokia does not supply the n8 to other outlet...thats why i have to buy it...honestly saying n8 is the best phone...

Amit, 12 Nov 2010any pointing thing, including stylus, will not work on N8. That is because it has Capacitive s... morelet me correcting you..yes it not working with ordinary stylus..which tip-end is sharp and narrow...but it working with stylus that big and bold-more are surface-like-tip-end ..of couse your tumb surface.

Its not slow gaya ng nababasa ko sa ibang comments. And the camera? wow..wala ako masabi. its fast and di masasayang money nyo..It even has usb on the go..wahaha. I got the black one..Yung batt pala nya kahit 1200maH lang..matagal siya maubos. Worth it bilhin...:)
