This phone remains the top of all phones in the world at the moment. Waitn for sony ericsson Anzu which is d likely one to take over. Men nd women get real apart from screen resolution iphone 4 can only to nokia n86. Nokia is light years away in mobile telephony.

i installed mobile shell and hacked it :) now i have a super phone. No lags or restart. Wow.. What a phone this is

i like old nokia phone but now new nokia phone sucks.ahhh what happened to nokia, maybe they hiring dummy people like who dont know abc and 123 thats why nokia so behind.this is not 1870 this is new world 2010. so make a good products. thats why your products so behind no one wana buy it. some people buy it and next day they sell it. lol

Well i have worked for mobile companies for 25 years and i find n8 a really bad and cheap phone compared to samsung wave, samsung galaxy S , iphone , HTC desire and other competing phones so my advise never buy the n8 go for wave or galaxy S or HTC desire

after tired of lag and worst OS symbian 3 I sold my N8. and baught HTC desire and seriously this is best phone because of there OS Android. Best Android OS.

i don't know if any of u guy got this problem like me but my nokia n8 won't turn on after it freeze. First there is a problem which i can't go to menu, when i push the menu button, it said ''system error''. i did not install anything yet and this happened. then i send to nokia care and when i got it back,it was fine.the next day, i check the phone, it already dead. i tried to turn it on but nothing happened, even though i tried charging it.anyone can help me, i like this phone and its features but how can i enjoy it if it keep freezing and restarting itself and now it is dead.THIS is very disappointing for me, i have such high hope for this one.

I admit that android is a great os, but there are somethings that symbian can do better than android, for example in the multimedia region. Symbian supports more multimedia formats natively than android.

I appreciate the "efforts of openness" symbian and android bring to the table. These 2 mobile OS are open to developers/users across different range of hardware while smartphone features are not being sacrificed but added and improved.
I like WP7 for the UI effort but feel it should not have ditched it's openness from WM6.5. Looking forward to QNX(new blackberry OS) and what the new Palm OS will bring to the market. Meego should be of different segment cause it's going to be more of a desktop OS than a smartphone OS.

Also there are plaenty of issues which are just plain down to the O/S. Admit it, it'd be a better phone running Android :)

I work with these handsets on a daily basis, I think it would give me su... moreI understand you like Android and even I feel it's cool...iOS is hyped by putting up a high price tag and using US media, but please understand that many people like the N8 and many people still like symbian.
I know of no one with N8 having serious issues (around 5 users) but in many forums it's being attacked. It's a wait and see as of now if these reports are true.
Whatever... I am glad this phone is useful for me and pleased that the unlocked phone price is reasonable.
