I am going to buy this phone but I am wonder the AMOLED screen of the phone is 360X640 resolution. Which is low compare with some new Samsung phone, they use AMOLED also. How about the image quality will have this phone?
iphone4 have much higher resolution! Is that AMOLED need to give up resolution?

i have used my nokia n 8 for 3 weeks and i have to say that i am very pleased it.
very convenient very well built and nice look
the video and camera are gorgeous the hdmi port is a plus. i have now 48 gb memory i can have all my music
it is also a vey good phone. you can hear your friend so cleary.
symbian 3 is very well done. at first it seems old fashion but it s the best for the every day life.
battery is ok for that kind of phone.
music is the best and the cover flow much better than other phone.
the bad thing is the headphone that is a piece of shit you must use yours ; internet browser not so good i would advise to use opera mobile; some freeze sometimes; i would prefer to have more app but that is coming now with 3 d games and better apps. the worst part is the keypad i am waiting eagerly the new update to have new one. the present one is not very convenient.

N8 has a capacitive touchscreen, which does not require and does not support stylus :)

[deleted post]Actually I'd seen before this X12 you are saying about 4 months ago. It circulated in our company's email titled "Future Phones". that includes out of this world (maybe futuristic) designs of different phones like motorola, nokia, sony ericsson, lg, samsung and other brands. So I can say that unless it is officially in the SE website, it is still a dream phone.
I have the email in my Outlook if I can only upload here you can see what I am saying. Hopefully Sony Ericsson will make & release this phone so that you will not just live in dream.

I don't like equalizer presets a... moreDon't worry about that equalizer preset, you can install a better third party application with complete music features. Wait for the PowerMP3 for Symbian3. Search for the internet about PowerMP3, it has good interface, customizable equalizer, categorize options to open music files easily and best of all you can get it free.
There are also a lot 3rd party music players aside from PowerMp3 for Symbian. That is one best thing about Symbian, developers can easily create applications fir this OS.
