Itz truely a futurephone but nokia should keep working on N8's future ! Dont let it die ! The bugs need to fix with firmware updates ! Beware ! Itz symbian but not the same as previous versions ! Download supported content only from Ovi store ! Do not get a single thing 4m d net ! Otherwise it starts to restart automatically ! Beware! U can download the content 4m trusted provider eg. Nimbuzz n opera from their respective official sites ! Dont dare to download s60v5 content ! It supports s60v5 but shows problems ! Even the songs,get it 4m ovi music ! Waiting for firmware updates ! Hope nokia is aware of N8's bugs and soon able to do smthng !

none, 06 Nov 2010Please note that there is something wrong with the BATTERY of the Nokia n8, which Nokia has ke... morehey ure actually the 1st guy who ive heard that havin battery issues most pple havin battery issues is just about them using the battery till it goes dead and takes time to show the charging sign which is a common trait of most nokia phones...i have been doin a lot of researvh on the n8 ever since its been out......

WOW, very nice allarounder. The N8 tops the charts in quite a few features but for me the Symbian3 is the best. Now I understand why symbian is the second most used OS in the world (windows is first). Android has a big issue with multitasking (basically is simulating multitasking with the aid of java) and the iPHONE is even worse. Only symbian does proper multitasking. I wish so much my GalaxyS can multitask like my brand new N8 does. Not even the power hungry 1ghz processor can help. When is Google going to implement multitasking at the same level as symbian and windows?

i bought this but from 23,699preorder last oct23,2010 price is high got 24,700php nokia phillippines yesterday im disappointed camera and xenon flash is joker, display resolution joker is not AMOLED. Guys waste money its not worth to buy. go for samsung, i will sell my n8 nextweek and i will buy samsung galaxy S or samsung tablet.. Nokia pleased improve your units N8 is a big fail unit again and again.. very slow symbian ^3 OS, UI is suck....

Just believe in Nokia, Nokia is market leader and they will do what it takes to stay remain in that position, and it means that Nokia have to make sophisticated cellphones or any other brands will take its position as a championship leader and I am sure Nokia do their best as strong as possible because no one likes to be second best.

It is one of the best smartphones available to date, have been using it for 10 days. No otjer phone can match it in features-
-usb on the go
-hdmi out + analogue tv out
-symbian 3 is a great improvement, no lag or restart in 10 days even under heavy use.
-perfect gps, with loaded nokia maps. you can also have dedicated google maps app.
-real multitasking, not suspended apps.
-a must buy
-there may be weaknesses, but they will be ironed out in firmware update, and nokia is known to support its products with updstes for the longest periods
-the comments by these nokia & symbian bashers look so silly after using it, i feel pity on them.

IPhone is the only mobile in the entire industry that is made and assembled cheaply but sold at a high price.
Apple make nothing of their phone. They just use others technology. Perhaps Samsung makes iPhone, saying this won't be wrong. Heres a small prove:
LCD by LG.
Processor by Samsung.
Battery by Samsung.
MLCC (multi layer ceramic capacitor) by Samsung.
Varistor by Amotech a small korean company.
FPCB by Interflex another small korean company.
IPhone is entirely assembled in Foxconn that has a very bad reputation on assembling and no other mobile company assembles their except charger

[deleted post]Could that be why Asia's Economy is growing very rapidly. Even in the USA and Europe most of their electronics comes from China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and many other smaller asian countries. If I'm not wrong even Samsung is doing very well in the UK and their Korean right.

As GSM Arena stated "You might notice that the homescreen panes start scrolling only after you have completed your swipe across the screen but that’s how it was designed to be and not some lag."
