dont trust nokia NSERIES is always failed, i recommend all of you planning to get n8 soon, go to samsung,htc,iphone its worth to buy, n8 waste money,symbian is suck. see what happened new os meego nextyear.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2010Seriously buddy....don't kid yourself!!!! Symbian 3 is so full of bugs and errors! My N8 hasnt failed me so far. Just wait for new updates and im sure all of the bugs will be fixed. Even the so called great iOS and android OS have their fair share of bugs too. Nvr in history has a OS been released without any bugs and probs.

My silver white has restarting problem,what should u suggest me ?
1) submit it to nokia care !
2) wait for firmware update !
3) sell the phone !
I just love it,itz a great device ,bought it 4m mobile store on 29 october,24k ! Plz reply !

Despite I posted this on the forum a while back when first got launched people think I was talking out of my A$$! BUT....ALL soon comes out in a wash I guess and that I'm happy you've a problem on resetting as well otherwise people on this forum think that the N8 was the BEST thing since sliced bread!!!! Zzzzzz..........Even ICRAP doesn't reset like the N8 but has anntenna issues!

nokia needs to upgrade there os make it more faster and stable with more usefull apps web browser needs a real update nokia come on this is not the stone age i love the n8 but the os is to slow for me nokia i need a mager update for this phone over all

as for the sound prob,you need to adjust the equalizer....just to add though,the n8 head set is of superb quality..
as for the youtube prob,i had it too in my 5800,then in the 3gs too...it's nothing wrong with the phone....just that the mentioned two phones are of too good a quality for youtube mobile....just for you to check out....try this....
watch a certain video of youtube over the n8,then,download that same video over the PC to your n8
you'll realise the difference in quality....

When anyone of you have a doubt whether to buy a nokia or a samsung,my sincere advice go for samsung.because Nokia has just got d name and hype when compared to samsung.samsung phones are much of worth.
Best example ask any person who owns a Nokia N97.
I regret buying an N97 so its btr not to go for hyped phones of nokia.

I use to love Nokia. Now all I do is wait. I tried loving the Nokia N8 but Symbian in all truth of the word is by far behind the competition. I bought the N8 only to have to return it. The OS just doesn't work for today's standards. Nokia failed on not porting Meego on this. I guess I'll wait for Meego to makes its official debute. Don't get me wrong the spec's on the N8 stands great and having a dedicated camera was a blessing while I had it but getting basic tasks done was a hassel. I recommend anyone to just sit and wait for a Meego device to come out. N900 is a year old but much better overall device which Ill stick to for now. Nokia listen to your faithful user's before you lose them all to Apple and Android.

Nokia was a bit in a hurry to release this phone, and the colour silver might be the original colour of the aluminium used to make the body of this phone, thus it manufactures faster than other colours. So nokia just loaded a pre-release software into the silver units and ship them off in a hurry. That is just my theory.

many are interested in this phone, but they dont vote for this phone. When samsung announced the wave, that time nobody has used the phone but they vote high for this phone.
So we too have to vote 10 10 10 for the n8. If other users will vote this phone down. We can vote every 3days.

N8 it has worst Battery life any Nokia phone i ever had since E66 with same problem. The battery go down 90% in 24 hours with light use. Crazy. Waiting to change the phone when Blackberry 9780 come out soon.
