It's unbelievable: nothing happens to the phone's funcionalities and its display - except a few scratches on its polycarbonate body.
The Corning Gorilla Glass display 100% survived and the phones's functionalities are also 100% survived. She's using her phone everyday now without any problem. I know by experience that Nokia built a good quality and durable phone. It's a true story.

strong sturdy..never lets u down....great sound camera battery..... All fine using since 2011..very durable product n gud looking also
this is best mobile from nokia as well oter companies.....with best battery backup, and nice net speed. also rough and tough bony type......
i've being using this phone nearly 3 years now! For some of u, this is a long period of time and for some-not so much...for me, this feels like forever 'coz i used change phones every 6-8 months.. *all Nokia of coz* But ever since i got this on my hand, i'm just in love with it! Do ur updates whenever it's available and ur N8 is perfect! For all this time, never had a single battery issue/over-heating/display issues nor even a single sensitivity issue with the touch!I am a careless and heavy user(addicted to my phone and rely on it for almost everything!)& have accidently fallen it from time to time (over 10times for sure) from different heights & different surfaces and still works perfectly and no scratches *hail screen protector*! if u are looking for a smart-highly durable phone... this is the best phone i can think of!
yes i do have a Samsung S3, but not happy with it as i'm with this-except android have more gaming options than Symbian! *won't trade for life*
Anonymous, 14 May 2013pls someone tell me how to free up some memory on c: phone memory,am nt sure to if to format it1. Try to clean your phone memory full with an app call "RAMblow Pro" by CellPhoneSoft. You can download it from Nokia Store (it's a paid app).
2. You can also do it with a free app called "Netqin mobile guard" (but I'm not sure if it's still available in Nokia Store or compatible with N8)
2. Factory Reset. This will clean your Drive C Memory Full. But I don't recommend it unless there's nothing else you can do to fix the Full Memory problem in your Drive C. WARNING: Factory reset will wipe out all your downloaded apps and your multi media files. You must back up all your data before doing a Factory Reset (think abaout it before you make a decission)
Note: This how to do a Factory Reset.
Go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory settings > Delete data and restore
about 20-25% of daily interest, best phone and unbeatable, the camera is beast, i dont think that gs4 or zl series is comparable with this one....
