Dont worry guys. The N8, in general ( Symbian^3 ) will get full support from Nokia as been stated by Nokia CTO & CEO. This will put Symbian^3 much smoother & powerful in the coming month.

If you don't really care about the way the menu looks, but only if the menu works, with eerything in it, and you want phone with great hardware specs, then N8 is your choise.

craig nash just got one, he endorsed n series. so it must be good.
he also traded in an iphone4 for the n8....... that is confidence in a product.
he also stated when buying the product that he hopes the n8 is successful as the n96, because that was legendary

Yest, i visited nokia dealer.. To see N8, this interface is very bad, My frnds use android phones and it is awsm interface... But frns say android is unstable.
I felt the interface of opening a menu, menu buttons are very old style, (Feel like Ngage, whn i was using it).
A phone which costs 24k, but still not with cool menus and cool interface.

I've already checked ever... moredelete all the mail accounts from the default nokia mail app on the phone. that will make the wifi to not connect every time. it worked for me. tell us if it also works for you.

n's, 25 Oct 2010why i cant use usb on the go at my phone..it says not supported usbMake sure the USB flash drive is not Formatted using the NTFS File system. After i formatted it to Fat 32, it played my SanDisk usb

I got rid of my samsung wave for the Nokia N8.
even though the wave was a brilliant phone, games like NFS Shift and Kroll would keep crashing. even while playig Asphalt, the phone would heat up.
if email exchange was used, the otherwise awesome battery would drain in a day.
The Nokia N8 seems to be the right balance.
the CORRECT amount of ram, REALLY POWERFUL Graphics, and a decent processor make it nice to use.
(Pretty sure the processor will be OVERCLOCKED soon by some hackers :))
I would like to try 750 - 800 GHz)
this would hopefully not strain the battery too much.
I would also like to thank nokia for making the OS better to work with rather than focussing on Eye candy.
i am sure the future upgrades will be great. till then, the never ending linup of themes and animation softwares are fine.
i find it funny how the trolls come up here and keep bashing this phone, even if they dont own it. there are enough people on this planet for all the smartphones to co-Exist....
The best thing about the Nokia N8 is that even after a year when there as a phone challenging the face of the mobile world with crazy specs, the Nokia N8 can double as a Perfect Digi cam / Video recorder / MP3 Player.
This Phone just cant go Wrong !!!!!!
