Yo yo peeps, have u got ur N8 ? I 've mine blue ! Great phone ! I am soooo happy, finally I got mine ! Itz just amazing ! I am just so happy ,I kept waiting for N8 since april rather than buying any other phn & my choice is perfect 4 me :) cheerz
i just LOL'ed at all this fights, we all know Nokia dosent have the best hardware and software out there, but everyone need to know, There is no such thing as a perfect phone, well...yet.. Take iPhone for instance, it lacks some stuff which nokia has, Nokia lacks the speed which Android has, And android lacks some things which Nokia and iPhone has! c'mon guys this comment section is not for fights, everyone has their personal likes and dislikes in a certain mobile phone. N8 might not kill iPhone, but it works well enough for most of us out there, if u don't like it, just let it be.
Each mobile phone has its pro's and con's, we just hav to choose the right balance of the features and needs that a certain mobile phone offers to us. As for me, N8 is a decent phone and it meets my needs for shooting photos and HD videos, enjoying music and occasional web browsing and gaming. :3
Nokia N8 is a brilliant mobile from Nokia an really shows to others the Nokia are back on Track again, you could buy 2 N8s an just 1 iPhone4,an the N8 as better features on it that the iPhone4,so it as been along wait for the N8 as i first saw the N8 in April,an Eldar on mobile-review gave the N8 no chance of being successful, but the N8 is really showing Eldar he gave the wrong opinion about the N8 an Nokia have done good job with the N8 to show Eldar that you got totally wrong demoaning the N8,so thats why reading reviews can sometimes help you but sometimes miss lead, until you have the mobile yourself,an with future updates to come the N8 will even get more better
insaneman, 24 Oct 2010i ve had my n8 a few days now and i commented fri it kept freezing up plus a could not access ... moreThe freezing was due to some corrupted files in your Memory Card & not from the device it self.
Make sure to format the memory card before inserting it into any new devices for better performance....
insaneman, 24 Oct 2010i ve had my n8 a few days now and i commented fri it kept freezing up plus a could not access ... morethat's good to hear man because when you said that i started thinking twice about buying the n8 been hearing about alot of crashes but they just seems to be surrounding the browser apparently
you just made me decide to buy one for sure
distributor, 24 Oct 2010u NOOB , what was wrong with that phone ? very nice style . better withouth OS than SHIT ... moreyou have NO idea what symbiam 3 is now, do you? some ppl will opt for feature and customizability rather than an iOS or android. if you hate symbian so much doesnt mean that everyone else will too. it just means that you're a muff cabbage for hanging out in forums of things you hate just so you can diss them.
i ve had my n8 a few days now and i commented fri it kept freezing up plus a could not access any of my sound files but it looks like it was some corrupt data on my memory card and once i had done a full reset of my phone it has been great not froze up once
neeraj kolhe, 24 Oct 2010hi friends m neeraj kolhe from chhindwara. i like n8 its nokia's first phone which is 12 megap... morethank you for letting all of us know. it just so happens that everyone is illiterate here and cant figure that it has a 12 mp camera for themselves..
Robarino, 24 Oct 2010in the end u agree with me . u also know that ANDROID is faster than other OS . and is SUPERMy friend, we are here to share information & details not to fight. Yeaa, i agree with you & it is obvious to me as well Android if faster than Symbian but as i told you ( symbian is lighter than Android )... :)
So no need to panic
[deleted post]Nah. I'll choose symbian^3 over any OS any day. If you say that symbian is like windows 95, well symbian^3 is like windows XP to me, not much eye-candy comparaed to vista and windows 7 (iOS and android), but gets the job done and very reliable.
David891, 22 Oct 2010You said even a cheap ass phone can run FM Radio without haedset, but could you give some exam... moreNokia X3 does support FM radio without headset, which is why I am using the radio as my daily alarm clock. Really wished N8 could have this feature, as I am getting N8 soon.

you have a point & i have a point. I know that DHD better in terms of: Ghz, Ram because Android is very huge in consuming energy, other wise , it will not be fast as it is now while vis versa in symbian.
tried a Nokia N8 at a local handphone store yesterday, and it's pure awesomeness! Alot smoother than my current X6..haha...Getting my N8 early next month, Nokia N8 FTW!!
0v0, 24 Oct 2010where is the: 1)- HDMI in HTC??? NO 2)- TV-out?? NO 3)- AMOLED Screen with clear black crys... moreTV i watch in real TV not in phone , i dont need HDMI . compare more important thingd plz , example screen size and pixel , more than double. processor , ram memory . OS . rest u know
[deleted post]where is the:
1)- HDMI in HTC??? NO
2)- TV-out?? NO
3)- AMOLED Screen with clear black crystal??? NO
4)- free maps & Navigations??? NO
5)- Speaker?? poor ( even some review site saying that, the build-in speaker is bad )
6)- battery??? bad ( long last 5-8 hrs )
But for symbian, it has very promising future as stated by CTO & CEO of Nokia.
Also, Symbian doesn't need more RAM & Ghz to operate, cos the OS is lite.
So as the time comes, Symbian^3 will become a powerful OS ( read to know what is happening ).
Android is ok, but energy hunger.
[deleted post]Chill mate, he is just promoting his site to Wheeze (who has been absent for a while). His site has help us all to get free games for those of us who have a N8
Okay, now im even more impressed. Nokia's CEO is Stephen Elop, but a bit less known fact is that CTO is Rich Green (ex Sun Microsystems exec. VP).
Nokia is going softwarewise BIG! It is so good to know that Nokia, as one of my favorite tech companies, is finally hiring the tech veterans from around the globe. Hail N8, now the future looks even brighter :)
