[deleted post]Nah. I'll choose symbian^3 over any OS any day. If you say that symbian is like windows 95, well symbian^3 is like windows XP to me, not much eye-candy comparaed to vista and windows 7 (iOS and android), but gets the job done and very reliable.

David891, 22 Oct 2010You said even a cheap ass phone can run FM Radio without haedset, but could you give some exam... moreNokia X3 does support FM radio without headset, which is why I am using the radio as my daily alarm clock. Really wished N8 could have this feature, as I am getting N8 soon.

you have a point & i have a point. I know that DHD better in terms of: Ghz, Ram because Android is very huge in consuming energy, other wise , it will not be fast as it is now while vis versa in symbian.

                [deleted post]where is the:
                1)- HDMI in HTC??? NO
                2)- TV-out?? NO
3)- AMOLED Screen with clear black crystal??? NO
4)- free maps & Navigations??? NO
5)- Speaker?? poor ( even some review site saying that, the build-in speaker is bad )
                6)- battery??? bad ( long last 5-8 hrs )

But for symbian, it has very promising future as stated by CTO & CEO of Nokia.

Also, Symbian doesn't need more RAM & Ghz to operate, cos the OS is lite.

So as the time comes, Symbian^3 will become a powerful OS ( read to know what is happening ).

Android is ok, but energy hunger.

Okay, now im even more impressed. Nokia's CEO is Stephen Elop, but a bit less known fact is that CTO is Rich Green (ex Sun Microsystems exec. VP).
Nokia is going softwarewise BIG! It is so good to know that Nokia, as one of my favorite tech companies, is finally hiring the tech veterans from around the globe. Hail N8, now the future looks even brighter :)

[deleted post]Yes. HTC DHD= HTC Desire HD.
Dear, what i said is: 3 top phones so far and didn't say N8 is better than HTC DHD ( Seems you are the blind 1).

[deleted post]Ur the one who is blind cause ur forcing a N8 which belongs in the higher middle-class range to compete with a HTC Desire HD which is a high-end phone. Is like comparing a very good teen footballer (n8) with David Beckham (HTC)

Just popping by, wont keep following this actively. Just downloaded the "full version" of Angry Birds now that it's available! Costs 3 euros though but has like over 100 levels or something! I recommend :D

I have the 5800 and Symbian is AWFUL. If you gave me a phone with Symbian I would throw it in the garbage. I hate it that much. Nokia is a sinking ship and they really need a new strategy. Pick up any Iphone or HTC device and you feel like a sucker. Man I hate Symbian!

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2010I've been wondering the same..I'll go for the dark grey, cause it looks more exclusive than the common-looking silver colour

Nokiaboy, 24 Oct 2010The most comprehensive, nonbiased and complete comparison of Nokia N8 and HTC Desire is here -... moreThere's one flaw in the Operas which leads to me rather using the default browser: the lack of pinch to zoom.

And once you realize how to open mutliple tabs in a controlled fashion in the default browser, it's a pretty decent browser.
