I have both galaxy s4 and nokia n8... galaxy is better in the internet .... but regarding photo capturing nokia n8 is better -don't surprise- the details in nokia n8 is more clearer when the same picture taken also the colors is closer to the reality in nokia n8 .... the belle is so simple in dealing than android ... in galaxy s4 don't say caller name and I downloaded many programs from play store but was not good, NOKIA N8 is much better in the Tv out as it can play by AV jack and HD cable in galaxy only HD and u should define the tv brand, n8 has fm trnsmitter galaxy not also I didn't find fm radio icon in galaxy rm files didn't play on the ordinary player and I downloaded BS player to tun them and I should open the program to play these files every time, galaxy applications are better than nokia like the watsapp and skype video chat also the typing is better in galaxy s4 -I'm typing from it now- this is my openion and really I want to change my s4 by nokia 808 pureview

sandy, 01 Jun 2013lol ..ya in dark wid no flash wat m i gonna click..;-).. Bt for sure it wont have red eyes..lolIn the dark, use flash, haha. If it's simply low light you can still use flash, but you can also turn it off because the N8 camera has a really large light sensor. Second largest in a phone in the world right now, actually. ;-)

bipro, 31 May 2013if nokia n8 is relaunched with 1ghz dual core processor,1 gb ram. It can be best phone again.... moreyes, and 4'' screen. That would be a best phone today. But foolish nokia spend too much money for developing win phones. Big mistake.

Nokia N8 is 3 years old and is still popular, you can't say that by it's direct competitors Samsung Galaxy S and the iPhone 4. Both phones are way behind the popularity of the Nokia N8.
I use my N8 as second Phone next to my Nokia Lumia 920. But the N8 is still up to date. It lacks LTE and an HD display, apps and some other things, but it has a great camera. So if you have the chance to buy a new N8, don't hesitate and buy that phone. It won't let you down in daily usage. Besides of that, I'm sure this will be a collectors item one day.

I'm using c7, but there is a problem, after updated to belle refresh i am unable ... moreit either c7 can't match with Belle refresh or there is something wrong with your updated procedures. ask your friend who more capable or ask nokia center near you, they will help you upgrade for free.
i don't know about c7 but my nokia N8 have a good video player, it even can played .flv! I dont know the application name, it just on my phone so i guest it from nokia. i always update my phone, just it!

crazy things about this phone is, it still have an update next week! two new application coming! after 3-2 years, Nokia still care for this phone!
Oh Nokia, i hope symbian would make wallpaper application because i am not satisfied with the wallpaper tools. it only stretch the picture at the middle and cut the bigger size picture to match the screen without let me stipulate what part of the picture i like to be wallpaper. blackberry gemini even can do better.
but it just minor mistake, overall, i love this phone.

hello guys.. I'm using c7, but there is a problem, after updated to belle refresh i am unable to open front camera... "unexpected error occurred, try to restart phone'', i restart, format also factory reset but error still there. Is there any solution? Also is there any video player app to play all format video like android mx player? It can't support many avi files...

Just one question why the hell wenever i click photos in... moreWhen you start your camera, click on the flash icon and choose "Red-eye" and this will do red-eye reduction ;-) It happens with every Xenon flash, even on very expensive DSLR cameras. But if you already have photos of people with red eyes you can remove them with the "Photo editor" in your phone, it works very well.
Also, you can take photos without flash and there will be no red-eye effect.
