I got my n8 on oct 12th and yesterday the phone started to hang everytime i slide lock the phone. God only knows whats wrong. Anyways nokia care india said they'll replace it, so i'm glad that they are atleast taking problems seriously.

Mobile Phone Salesma, 22 Oct 2010Nokia N8 is a fantastic phone for it's simplicity other than that it's like the rest of the N ... moreOf course there are lots of Android phones available. All the smaller manufacturers switched since they can't compete against Nokia on Symbian. They all tried, they all failed.
They don't have things like OVI maps, OVI store and Qt that are essential these days so they jumped at the chance to get similar things for free when Google offered it. They aren't all that satisfied with Android either which you can see from the huge amount on Win7 phones now coming.
Current Android is way too resource hungry and fragmented to stay competitive. Its rea: pain to make good games for Android for example. I see new Symbian and Win7 already stunting its growth.

hello guyzz (with LED light mania) nokia couldn't mount a led light because there was no room at the back after adding an extra mic for better audio capture during recording. now gyz tell me which is more important to you-excellent audio quality all the time(with dual mic and audio processing algoritm) or occasional low light video with restricted video light(you know it doesnt work well beyond 2 metes)

Nokia N8 is a fantastic phone for it's simplicity other than that it's like the rest of the N series.Nokia should do away with the N-series as the market for them isn't favourable with regards to the later models!!Problem after problem,Nokia is happy to take your money and you are content to squander your money.Anyone who knows anything about anything would know that Android has hit the market in a huge way,the sheer ammount of phones being released on Android is an attestment to that!Between Android opperating phones and Blackberry the choice is a given as to what you would ask for when entering a mobile phone store.The only thing that surprises me is that Nokia hasn't caught onto the Android buzz.So you may argue my point if you like but all I ahve to say to that is where Android is concerned.....WATCH THIS SPACE!!

Also if I use the xe... moreBut the N8 do seems to perform quite good for taking movies in low light conditions, because of its big sensor.. I don't have the phone yet, but read it in reviews. And a video light is only for very close use, otherwise it wont have an effect.

To mk - Dude I just love the game's collection at ur site .... But I don't undstnd that what do u mean by telling these are free? So we don't need to purchase these to activate after installing??Are they pre-activated?Plz tell me,so that i can start my download ryt now.... :)
