Farooq, 20 Oct 2010Brought Nokia N8 on 16/10/2010..... Worked very fine on the first day..... But on 18/10/20... morejust got them into our store here got one out just hasnt changed atall operating system may aswell be from a 5800 scrolling is still not that responsive and pinch zoom in the browser goes glitchey from time to time. camera good but as a phone no way.

i think it's a good phone.the camera of n8 is superb.

nifled , 20 Oct 2010is the nokia n8's battery removable and replaceable? because if not there's something wrong wi... morewe cant open it ourselves. but the screws on either sides have 6 edges. You will need a special screw driver to open it urself after the warranty period is over.
i am a proud owner on n8 for 3 days now. 2 years warranty since i pre-ordered this with nokia . I would not need to pry open the casing as it is not necessary.

Super...Like it...
Now a days People are forgetting what is the basic purposes of the mobile phone.If we can't talk to smoothly in most high priced phone then what is the reason to buy this phone(like Iphone4)rather than purchase mini laptop/Ipad....

dk, 20 Oct 2010N8 and desire with desire hd comparison; Screen- desire wins(1pt) Speaker- both are equiva... morei agree with you. Nokia N8 have many good features. But all features at least have one bug. Please correct if i am wrong.

Brought Nokia N8 on 16/10/2010.....
Worked very fine on the first day.....
But on 18/10/2010 the phone is admitted to the local care center because the phone started to restart again and again and finally went off...
Care people asked me to send this phone to the Nokia Care Head Department... Phone will return back in 15-20 days after solving the problem...

Nokia have done a Superb job producing the N8,the phones fast,battery amazing,software o.k,camera magic,but wish we had a shutter to protect the camera lens,as thats whats going to people scared of leaving it inside your pockets with coins inside it,as you do not spoil the photos you are taking by scratching or marking the lens,Speakers really loud,an really happy i purchased this Superb Mobile
