Devil_driver, 17 Oct 2010Which one's battery is better N8 or HTC desire Hd ??? Plz give an honest opinion ...to be very honest you can buy both the phones and check it yourself. dont trust others.

You are not changing our minds so dont burst a vein in your head trying. You see, from what i've seen from 2 x10's, i wont waste my time with it. Just eyecandy as i said. I dont want only that. If i want that there's SPB mobile shell. Its awesome. It makes the phone very much similar to android and the likes. Works smoothly even with its low processor. Heck, it works well with the 5800. Now scurry along and go and charge your phone. The battery is about to die cos your 1ghz monster is hungry, again. BTW, that is a fact, so dont deny it. My 2 buddies are in my office charging their phone at least twice a day while a dont with my nokia and thats even with the PHONE updates installed!!

This phone was also not... moretired of nokia fans keep on defending their n8 here n its problems.....get a life n do something else or keep on enjoyin ur new nokia laggy n8 rather than coming n convincing people here that its great n talk lies about other mobile features.

This phone was also not designed to take on the likes of the iPhone or Androids. It was instead designed to be different and unique. It was designed to provide a step change while still being competitive. Other OS's are ahead. Symbian are not dead. The ^4 would close that gap very soon, sorry they should be on par with others. Meego would be your killer. Go invest in those OS's. Mee...go to Meego. For now i want a phone for ease of life thats fit for daily use and integrates with LIFE. Eye candy is not called integration into your life. It is for show offs. After the hype dies, so does the lust for the phone. This phone wouldnt cos of the life style integration.

Umm,i will definitely buy the silver 1...But the thing is,I am actually bit confused between N8 & HTC Desire HD...U knw wht I've always been a nokia user (6600,N91,now N96)..So I wanted a new OS & UI with more powerful CPU...But I'm disappointed with these old features of N8...On the other hand,HTC don't give any warranty in our country,& it's battery life is pretty bad for a 4.3 inch screen.... My head is totally jammed dude,I am really puzzled about wht 2 do.... Anyway thanks a lot for ur information.... Have fun with ur N8...

The blogs just say so because they thought that 'hey, a 12mp phone from nokia, so it must be a flaship phone!' And the specs sheet does not say that the n8 is a high-end phone, ask any UNBIASED phone expert and he/she will say that the n8 is not a high end phone, but more of a higher middle-class phone.

[deleted post]The x10 might be better for you but it is not for me. IMHO that is. I need a good camera and the n8 can fulfill that. The HDMI port and the USB OTG feature aso is unique to nokia phones and i find it very useful. I'm not persuaded by the android eye-candy cause i know that Symbian OS is a mature platform and the Symbian^3 has improved alot from the previous symbian versions. Double clicking has been greatly reduced, it is now open (unlike the previous Symbian^1), the coding now uses QT which reduces the amount of time and money spent on creating an app. Why in malaysia, i dun see that many android phones around (based on my experiences that is) compared to nokia phones, both smartphones and feature phones. U shud go for the X10 if you think that is better than the N8, and i will go for the n cause i think it is better than the X10. Ok?

hakeem, 18 Oct 2010i have been using this pone for 3 days. i am quite dissapointed. it has hanged and switched ... morehi hakeem, dont worry im sure nokia will issue an updated fw soon. thats what happen usually with other nokia phones too. go slow on trasferring d musics,pics videos etc dont do bulk transfer. let the ram get use to your trend of usage. btw how much u bought it in RM? thanks n cheers

Iphone4 with their antennagate issue and their new glassga... morenokia n8 is nokias flagship mobile n their high end device(although slow n crappy wiz due respect to all n8 users n potential buyers but thats the truth) n i guess u should search more on google as nokia n8 is nokias flagship n high end mobile n dats y everyone on sites r comparing it wiz the best mobiles in market but to be honest it doesnt look high end at all n just high end on paper
