Got my N8 just today! Simply superb! Worth every penny for me!
If your major needs are awesome music, excellent photos, messaging, great reception, decent interface with good multitasking; then you'll love this phone! Added to that are the USB OTG and dolby sound! And of course, the 12MP snapper has got enough applause already!
I admit that N8 is not about flashy UI or visual treats. But it gets your work done pretty well.
I don't know why people didn't like the messaging inputs. I am quite very happy with it. It's just that I am switching from N73 to N8. So the non-touch to touch transition will take some time.
I hardly use web and social networking via my cell phone. So the issues widely debated can be ignored in my case! I am a fan of Nokia and Symbian's simple, no-nonsense UI. So I love this phone! Thank you Nokia! Symbian^3 is definitely a step in the right direction!

Srijith ES, 17 Oct 2010Hi N8 Users?? Any freezing Issue??? Battery Issues?? We know that the nokia phone frezes ... moreHi N8 can freeze. But the hard reset 3 button combo of volume down, camera button & menu button works fine for restart. The thing is as soon as the phone screen went black after pressing the buttons I pressed the power button. The phone restarted fine without loss of data (no hard reset).
