nokia should give people a app that u can use the xenon flash as a video light that would be cool i am using the n86 now and i love how bright the video is on the n86 but i am looking to get the n8 just now its way better than the i shit phone
OVERPRICED. No VALUE FOR MONEY
20K is the maximum cost. but why nokia used symbian on it. they should have used android
The future for Symbian will be a real different experience than what you think of it right now! Symbiotic relationships anyone. A Technology convergence of SMARTPHONES. SMART Hardware, SMART Software with the user. Your phone will know you! lol
whats means by MULTITOUCH, i hv tested on npd today and was saw that screen sense only fingure
Many people are still unaware that the Kinetic scrolling on the homescreen isn't a lag issue. Its a part of the touch framework design.
The delay is normal. The touch interface waits for a moment for commands to be reversed in case the user doesn't want to swipe to the next homescreen for sure. Thats why there is a short wait timeout period.
If you want to change between homescreens instantly. You can use the middle command bar button. This is clearly put by the AllAboutsymbian site. I'm absoultely sure Nokia will improve things much.
I will positivly certainly be purchasing one of these phones I think. I was interested in the WP7 HTC's until I found out what's currently missing in Hard/Soft department. So they won't be getting my money any time soon.
I already read many interesting facts about the changes in S^3 & in facts about the hardware itself. The capabilities are endless. There are some grea apps going to be created making use of many of the phones features.
As regards to first releae firmware there are bound to be some bugs or issues. Improvements will be inevitablely likely. New features added, new capabilities. Symbian foundation have some amazing ideas & concepts for the future which will put Android, WP7 to shame & even IOS.

got mine 3days ago via Nokia priority dealer
this is fantastic phone guys trust me,audio is amazing, camera is out of this world just superb, screen is very bright and easily viewable under direct sun, battery life is decent goes on for a day with maximum heavy use, gaming is awesome and this is just the starting many developers will make games for it and me personally i love to play NFS SHIFT on this brilliant screen, and there is no lag or hangs like the older symbian.
I got it for Rs.25000 indian money so guys go for it and im even writing this on N8 :)
Just played around with my uncle's N8 (he works for Nokia SG). Coming from a iPhone 3GS and 4, there is NO LAG and the software is a delight to use. Even faster than SPB Shell on my friend's Omnia II (800 MHz Qualcomm). Totally fantastic. Stereo audio is a dream. 720p video miles better than iPhone 4. Flash is brilliant and despite having many keyboard complaints, it is excellent to say the least. Screen is fabulous, pinch to zoom may be a bit slow but I don't mind. Web Browser is laggy too, but nothing Opera Mini can't fix. Miles better than S60V5. Homescreen lag is absent and widgets load fast. The slide after the sweep implementation is a good idea as some widgets are side scrollable. Varying backgrounds is a nice touch. If you still don't like the UI, get SPB Mobile Shell 3.7 at www.spb.com. I definitely don't need it, and can't wait for Singtel's launch.
[deleted post]they are located in hyderabad.
i am looking for best price in mumbai.
Ganesh [from India], 15 Oct 2010Today I took a demo of N8 at one of the Nokia Stores in Bangalore, India
I had another visi... moreI thought at first that I'll let this one go, but as it seems no one's actually defying those flawed logic, moreover some are spawning racist comments (I'm looking at you 'Shane'). I'll answer point to point:
1. The N8 screen is visible even in direct sunlight. Does your showroom light produce even more 'lumens' than the sun itself? If that's the case, those fluorescent bulbs are something...
2. No comments on photo/video quality. You either didn't peel off the protective plastic, or you're lying.
3. Last time I checked, i-phone 4 battery is soldered to the back cover. And the N8 barely hangs, and even if it does, it restarts itself. In extreme conditions, holding down the power switch for 8 seconds will always restart the phone, since it acts like a cut-out (as in wiring).
4. If you have your HDTV attached to a wall, it's indeed a problem. However, placing a tea table under the Tv should solve the problem.
5. Pinch to zoom lags only the first time. From then on, it's smooth.
And in case you don't know, all i-pods have a problem detecting wi-fi zones and also at keeping the connections active. I know since I own one, and all my friends who own has the same problem. It automatically disconnects from my wi-fi home network. On the other hand, my age old N82 works just fine.
