Stolen said alot of good things there. Now that Indians are finally getting theirs along with the rest of the world, my work is soon done here. This has been extremely time consuming, but I've loved answering your questions and I've felt privileged to get the phone so early and help you people make your decisions. I won't say final good byes just yet, but now the device can finally defend itself by having lots of unique users telling their feelings about it.
Nokia has really shaked the world, just seeing the amount of haters (even up to real big medias such as Engadget and Gizmodo willing to lose their credibility to bash the N8) it has gotten on the move is huge. This is why I was also defending it here, I wanted people to give it a fair chance and not just believe what the haters think.

Guess what I got my pre-booked N8 today for 25000 in Bangaloe(India)and i hav been playing with it for the past 8 hours
Personally,iam 99% satisfied with the phone and this is the right phone which i was waiting for.Guys i dont knw wether its better or lesser rated wen compared with other samsung or iphones...but myself had used n73,n85 and samsung wave....out of these,i hav felt that N8 is the best regarding every aspect.The only problem i found with my N8 is that the camera button is a little stiff and have to press a bit more harder to take a snap which may lead to a shake of camera wen takin pics.The speaker sound quality is better than and louder than 85.The sound effect isint upto my expectation when i heard it whith the default headset provided by nokia with the pack.But it gave a gud output wen i connected my SENNHEISER PMX 60 headphone...it sounded perfect regarding the base and treble.I guess i dont hav to tell anything more about the phone, coz Wheez had already given you all the rest of positive feedbacks which i hav to say.If anyone hav any questions in mind about the phone...u are welcome.I vl make sure that i giv u a perfect answer.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2010Galaxy S definately.dont buy galaxy s..it lags a lot..i am using it..battery also not good..if u r interested in android u should prefer HTC as galaxy s main selling point is super amoled..but once u start using it will lag a lot..i am selling my galaxy n planning to buy either n8 or desire HD

[deleted post]You definitely should be proud being Indian. Many of those pesky Americans think they are somehow better, but they would be surprised at the number of Indian IT experts the local HQ of Nokia has here. Most likely alot more than it has people from the USA for example.
India is a major source of IT-knowledge nowadays and anyone who tries to deny that is an idiot.

hi friends, i got my n8 at 27000 INR. I gave 2500 INR EXTRA to give n8. and its worth. N8 ROCKSSSS. SERIUSLY. GO FOR IT. I m posting my opion also by N8.

I'm gonna buy this one, this phone is a rockstar...
I'll take it in jan sometime so that the firmware is better and i hope the developers find someway or hack it up to put flash 10.1 in it...

hello frnds i m a samsung omna hd user, i also own nokia e90 and n95 8gb. omnia hd is superior than any nokia phone even in music strenght. its 2 times powerful than n95 8 gb in music strenght. but now i want to sell omnia hd for n8 coz i need a xenon embedded phone. can any one plz tell me how is the xenon performance of n8 and how is the music experience in the earphone. plz frnd may be wheez. i know it cant beat omnia hd in music strenght because of omnia hd's advance setting but still i hope it can beat n95 8 gb. coz i think it was the best nokia phone ever. i red a comment which quotes as '' e72 has better speaker than this'', if its true than i m gonna kill nokia manufacturers. coz my dad had e72,its a superb phone with the worst speaker

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2010that is truth but to be the best the sky is the limit that means u should be able to use the x... moreXenon flash can't be used as video light. You do that and you'll going to have a busted flash. Xenon needs to be recharge before it could fired up. My good ol' C901 has both xenon and led (for video)

india is 1 of of the 1st few countries,where n8 is launched.even places like UK & usa still dont have it.some 1 said here that we indians have no money to buy this phone.this proves how much we have!!!

One strange thing is that the Music volume is 'only' 66 dB, while ringtone is 83 dB, so the speaker should be capable to produce 84 dB. I guess the mp3 player is limited at 66 dB, maybe there will be a custom made patch to fix this in the future?
