[deleted post]Actually that's not the reason some of the N8s are made in China. They are already being made with like full factory here in finland where labor is everything but cheap, but the factory has limits in it's capabilities too, so they have to produce them in two places to be able to make enough of them.

Is there a way to turn off the fading/sliding menus? I personally don't like them, I'd like the UI to be fast like old S40, bam, bam ,bam, instant. No animations, just straight to biz. This is a deciding factor in my purchase.

what are u guys worried about nokia made in china?????apple products are also made in china...they just sugar coated it with the term "assembled in california, assembled in china" do u get what it means? labor cost in china is cheaper so they want the devices manufactured ther but it doesnt mean the product is not good.....

Can we do this similar thing using N8? SGS has lots of drawbacks, have to spend more than 25k to buy any one of them,!!!
