I'm sure it was you who trialed the phone & gave us your thoughts... moreIf you want copy/paste feature, it's sad to say that if it's the same browser as found on old nokias, you're only option would be to have an opera mini or opera mobile. They are good browsers. And they render pages efficiently. A 2mb page in default browser is loaded below 500kb on opera mini. No flash in mini though.

No need to fight over these phones unless you own a stake in these companies. Iphone and N8 are both great phones. I am buying both. N8 for me and Iphone 4 for my wife because they are both great phones PERIOD!

Wheez, 10 Oct 2010Havn't trialed any prototypes apart from a demo model that was available in the finnish flagsh... moreHow i wish there's a shortcut for that, as in keypad phones you press the number 5 to switch windows.
That's where my need for a qwerty coming from.

Iphone is untouchable in area of touch sensitivity and style since the first i phone, but in the world of multitasking and flash web, how can anyone survive without it? I gifted an i phone to my gf as u know she's not gonna be needing those kinda workaholic features... Ios is enjoyable and fun, but not good for a real smartphone, android and symbian are the ones...
Every device has its pros and cons...
And if u were looking in Ovi store for app, it was the wrong place to find, try sites like mobile9..
They have tons of symbian app, which ios can't even dream of...
Gaming is surely better in iphone, they but ur a gyro sensor for that only, but symbian isn't bad either...
So choose wad u like, but u are saying somewhere around 15k (INR) for i4 compared to n8...

I beta tested this phone out for a week(In Canada), the phone is great a real step up from past Nokia phones but its touch interface isn't as smooth as the iphone 4. The camera is amazing, the hdmi port works flawlessly when hooked up to a tv and it has a ton of features (power saving mode which i found quite useful as the battery drains out quick and I LOVED the built in FM Transmitter). Ovi store sucks hard so I couldn't really do much in terms of apps. A couple of things that were annoying: a) The protruding camera/loudspeaker; it seems like this could easily get damaged as it also took away from its looks and b) The SMS messaging!!!! my god every time you send a text message you have to click on a Check-mark THEN click send, that added step to send a simple text was reallllllly annoying. For those looking for a really feature packed camera phone this phone is great but personally I would choose the iphone 4 over this phone simply because the ip4 has a much smoother touch screen interface, it never lags, and it's app store is untouchable. Nokia is headed in the right direction and if they ever perfect their OS on these type of phones then I have no doubt that they can easily reclaim their rightful throne.

HAve my hand on the model sample, not a real one, the screen size is the same as n900 , itis the first time we see symbianphone on this screen size, it is large enough , perfect size, very thin as well. I Dont need to buy ponintandshoot camera anymore , gps device, even the ipood touch for gaming, ovi store gaming os growing , o can wait for the games

and you'll see that the Android OS have over 7,000 issues.
To simply say that a certain OS is best for everyone or/and in every single area is just false.

Since when do you speak for everyone? I for one am impressed by the phone's performance. You just have to realize that the N8's camera is its the most talk about feature -- that it overshadows other features, e.g. true multitasking (try running 74 apps on other mobile OS).
