The only thing bada and any other mobile os has over symbian is the ui which is also subjective. Something that can be easily fixed with a 4 dollar app called spb mobile shell. Be rational. I don't see bada multitasking. Not even in 100.2 raised to power of infinity. Thats if it doesn't die out or fade to insignificance by then. Bada is an android wanna be. It aims at androids strongs but still doesn't surpass it at any.
Bada has no future. The os framework seals its fate. Its not open to new technology. The os would have to be entirely rewritten in event of a major hardware breakthrough.

For everyday use phones must be sturdy, reliable and simple. Which applications do we really need? Beside standards like telephony and messaging :-) we basically need access to Internet, e-mail, 5MP camera, GPS and a good battery. Phone should work everywhere in the World (Japan included!)Music, games and movies are not necessary. Call me conservative...

Nokia is testing the patience of the customers to the extreme. Delaying this long will cost nokia a lot.
i hope this does not happen to the forthcoming meego handset.

Lunks, 10 Oct 2010Thanks Wheez.. just one more question can we chage fonts on this phone... as i really dont lik... moreIn symbian 1, you'll have to install fontrouter to change fonts, or you can manually change them on system's folder. You need to hack it if you choose the latter.
Don't know bout n8/symbian 3 though.

The sound quality is good if you ask me, but I'm sure some hifi expert may think different :D

2. hv u tried opera mobile beta 2? does it works?
3,i dnt hv 3g here, so really like to know about edge class 33 perfornance
4.what about the sounnd quality in headphones??

As for fonts, I think they are at least changeable through themes.

how is the quality of the games ? does it hang when you play them? can it open many HD games without hangin because i heard the the galaxy and the iphone 4 hang alot so i just want to know what about the n8?
